Hey Product Hunt
I'm Simon, solo founder of FairPay.
I built this because I kept running into the same problem, someone organizes a group trip or dinner, pays for everything, and then spends days chasing everyone for their share. The usual fix is Splitwise for tracking + Venmo for paying, but that's two apps and still requires everyone to download something.
FairPay combines both. You create a group, set the amount, and send one link. Anyone can pay their share directly, even without downloading the app, through a web checkout.
Hey Product Hunt! š
I'm Simon, solo founder, built FairPay completely alone.
The problem I kept hitting: someone organizes a group trip, pays upfront, then spends days chasing everyone for their share. The "fix" is always two apps one to track, one to pay. Nobody wants to manage two apps for one problem.
FairPay combines both. Create a group, set the amount, share one link. Real money moves via Stripe, Apple Pay supported, fees shown upfront.
The part I'm most proud of: only the organizer needs the app. Anyone invited pays through a web link, no download required.
Current numbers, no marketing yet: ā 72 registered users ā 29 groups created ā 15 real payments completed
App Store approved ā Built solo ā
Biggest question I have for you: what would make you actually use this instead of just splitting manually or using Venmo?
