Would you consider a tool that tracks your activity locally so you don't get banned useful?

I've been going through hell for the last month. I was banned from LinkedIn for excessive activity.

  • For 24 hours

  • For 48 hours

  • For 72 hours

  • For 168 hours - currently waiting until Tuesday, 10 PM CET.

The only useful advice I've received from support is to be less active.

The one marketing lesson I learned from building an AI product that no one talks about

When we started building Murror, I made the same mistake most AI founders make: I marketed the technology.

"Powered by AI." "Smart algorithms." "Personalized insights." All the buzzwords. And you know what happened? Crickets.

How to increase sales of your product that has many free users but only a few paying ones?

For over a week, the wider Product Hunt community has been chiming in with their two cents in the discussion about where to draw the line between which product features should be free and which should require payment.

Just yesterday on X, a post started trending about a tool with 35,000+ users, but only just over 1,300 paying customers. The founder was asking the community for advice on how to increase conversions.

Are the chatbots pleasers?

In one of the newsletters I follow there is this quote. What do you think about it?

Chatbots comply with the user s wish to solve the problem on their own, even when this is impossible and may make matters worse. Chatbots, in fact, are not built to help, but to please. If you feel flattered when your LLM tells you how smart your question was (I certainly do), you are not alone: a pre-print from 2025 found that all major LLMs were highly sycophantic.

How do you decide what features should be free and what should be paid?

Let me start from the creator s perspective:
I personally don t have a product (apart from hiring people for creative work or offering personal consultations).

But as a creator, I constantly share content, insights, and information, value that helps me build trust (for free). Based on that perceived expertise, people eventually decide to work with me (a paid service).

What are you building, and what does your stack look like?

I am a Computer Science student doing research into how solopreneurs and small startups create new apps and what their stack looks like. Particularly, I'm interested in how you handle things like authentication, billing, and permissions/authorization in your apps.

Let me know what you're working on below and how you're going about it -- I'd love to connect for some quick calls to learn about your product and talk about your process in building it!
