@ryan_hendrickson I'm building something quietly, hoping to launch soon. What I've found in my experience as an engineer of 9 years is that infrastructure matters, for trust, as well as scalability and this in turn helps optimise costs and performance, which is essential for early founders in my opinion. With IOS / Android apps for payments I would use something like RevenueCat their comission...

Hey @jnthnmyrs this is a wonderful idea, and I love the interface, it's soo clean and simple. I love the viewed history on the bottom when you return to the page as well, nice touch. The dark colour for a visual reader is exactly what I want when I'm writing for my PhD thesis and reviewing articles. A couple suggestions: It would be great if you could, have a summarise button which keeps the...

In short I think the basic category of a weather app is solved however the weather experience isn't. It would be great to see an app with notifications - stay with me here I know we hate them but if we could have a weather app which improved how we think about weather apps, we might be on to something. Like "It's raining today, grab an umbrella if you're heading out". Examples: βIs 5:30pm or...

In my opinion, I've found it's much harder to grow a personal brand - especially for influencers if an individual is not considered in the social media space to be "conventionally attractive". I've found as a builder, it's much simpler to build a personal brand after establishing credibility by building tools that people use first, then people naturally ask who's the founder? Or maybe I've come...

Hi Valentina π Firstly, love your hands on approach to product testing. As a builder, thoughtful testers are honestly underrated, they usually give the most meaningful and actionable feedback. I've been thinking a lot about how people evaluate tools beyond surface level reviews. So it's really interesting to hear your perspective. I do pay attention to overall aggregated ratings as a signal,...

Hey Vlad! Welcome to PH π Love the mindset, especially the "no hype just solid apps" - great to meet another systems-focused builder here. Desktop software doesn't get enough love these days, but performance and reliability still matter a lot for power users. I took a quick look at FTPie and it looks smooth. I'd be curious how you're thinking about scope long term. Staying focused on a few core...

What was the catalyst for you to start building your own product?
Hi PH family! β€οΈ I'm Minhajul or (Mj) if you prefer not to use a tongue twister π I've been a long-time lurker / Casper the Friendly Ghost like many others for a while and it's so nice meeting fellow builders. I want to know what was the catalyst or the trigger where you thought "I'm going to build something and put it out there." For me - it happened after 9 years as a data engineer. I spent...

This is a really clever idea! Hats off to you, would I use it? A production push while I'm away sounds kinda scary, potentially if it gave me a review message with this is the bug - this is the fix, approve / deny / fallback options, I would definitely consider it. Regarding launch or wait, I can't say for sure as I haven't launched my first product yet, but one thing I will say is my iPhone...

This is awesome! π₯It would be great for watching films that don't have subtitles in a native language by default. Working across different systems is just great system design as well. XD Congrats on the launch π

This is a great idea! π₯ It always amazes me, how there are so many solutions to problems no one's ever tried. The features mentioned by @lincoln_brown1 are really good! The site also looks really good, colours are definitely warm and what I'd expect of a family sharing app. I would also add to the - HOH (Home Operations Hub). The following: 1. See ingredients purchased by other family members...

Hey @giammbo great to meet you! π€ I love the name "aitinery" that is super clever! Your site looks great too, this is something I hoped someone would launch one day, and I'm looking forward to seeing you expand it into new countries. Would be really cool for London - where I'm based and always looking for things to do in my city. For me, the #1 frustration when planning a trip is finding...

Hey Launch Team, congrats on launching on Product Hunt! I really love this idea, it reminds me of the "Dimensional Depot" from the Satisfactory PC game! The website is really clean too, and I'm all for good UI / UX. I wish it were available for Windows, but this is definitely a great utility. I hope it goes well on PH launch day. Suggestions for future updates: I know no folders is part of your...

Congrats on launching Shepherd to Product Hunt π I really like the user interface and the concept of growing a sheep, great concept to gamify productivity! It's adorable too. Would be cool if you could see each sheep from each day in a farm like tab almost like a streak to see how well you've been doing over the week / month / year. Hope more people find this useful. β€οΈ
