Our best-performing onboarding step was the one we almost deleted.

We had a 6-step onboarding. Usage data said step 4 "connect a data source" had the highest drop-off. 43% of users abandoned there. It looked like the obvious thing to cut.

We ran a holdout test instead. One group got the full flow. One group skipped step 4 entirely.

🎧 What music are you listening to while working?

It s Saturday, and most of us continue working anyway...

When I m doing very intellectual tasks, I just put on my headphones - without any music - and concentrate on my thoughts.

But when I need some inspiration, or I m doing some repetitive work, there s always music in my ears.

💸 When is a product/maker ready to raise money?

At what point does a product become ready to talk to investors?

When you have users?
Revenue?
A clear business model?
A certain number of people using it?
