The 3.0 should be an upgrade, but quality control is sorely lacking. Misaligned parts and an overall downgrade in materials and handling is apparent. I traded in the 2.0 because it was consistently undercooking and there was a significant difference in temperature control between the top and bottom chambers. You could also not exceed 400 degrees in the oven, which leaves out a significant number of recipes which require 425 degrees. Not impressed. Customer service will justify some of the issues and reassure you that all is well, but at the end of the day, they are trying not to lose money on returns. I wish I would have just taken my loss on the 2.0. Meals are very pricey, but if you bought it for their meals, you'll just need to add a little time to all the programming they've included with each meal.
