About

Co-founder of Hintli — an AI conversion guide for complex B2B SaaS. It answers visitor questions from your content, drives the page (scrolls, highlights, fills forms), handles objections, and books the demo. Not a chatbot — a buying experience in one script tag, live in minutes. We're onboarding our first 3–5 founding partners with full free access. Always up to talk conversion, AI, and go-to-market for SaaS.

What actually got us our first users (and what was a total waste of time)

We've been building Hintli for a few months and I just went back through everything we tried to get the first users. Figured I'd share the honest version, not the LinkedIn version.

What was a waste of time:

  • Posting in a bunch of directories. Half of them want money before you have a single customer. Zero signups from any of them.

  • Big "launch" posts. You get a spike for a day, then silence. Nobody sticks around.

What actually worked:

Getting the first customers for a new saas is honestly the hardest part

building the product is the fun part. then you launch and... nothing. no traffic, no signups, and you realize nobody knows your thing exists.

I think most of us have been there. you post on a few subreddits, maybe try Product Hunt, tweet about it to your 40 followers, and after a week it goes quiet again. and a lot of the directories that are supposed to help want you to pay before you even have a single customer.

that's pretty much why I made The SaaS Harbor. it's a free place where new SaaS products can get their own page and get found. no paid plans, no waiting list, you add your product and it's live. you don't need any revenue to be listed.

it won't solve getting customers on its own, nothing does. but it's one more place people can find you, and it costs nothing.

Built an AI guide that runs your site and books demos — would love feedback

I'm Stas, co-founder of Hintli. We just launched on Product Hunt and I'd genuinely like feedback from this community.

What it is: an AI guide that lives on your website. It answers buyer questions from your own content, drives the page (scrolls, highlights the right section, fills forms), handles objections, and books the demo. It's not a chatbot it guides people through the buying decision the way a good salesperson would.

Who it's for: complex B2B SaaS teams whose site loses qualified visitors who can't get answers fast enough. Setup is one script tag, live in minutes, no API key to start.

Why I'm posting: beyond votes, I want honest takes is the positioning clear? Does "not a chatbot, a buying experience" actually land, or is it confusing? What would make you try it on your own site?
