Launched Wastime today. About 2,130 hours so far

Hi everyone! Wastime went live on Product Hunt today. It is a small app about time and life for iOS and Android, and at the center of it is your life laid out in weeks.

It began in September 2024 as a weekend tool I built for myself, around one question. What does an ordinary day add up to if you keep living it for years? My ordinary small stuff, carried forward ten years, came to about 6,500 hours, close to nine months of life ... Since then I have put roughly 2,130 hours into the app.

I built Buildory because finding teammates was harder than building the project

Ever had a project idea but struggled to find the right people to build it with?

I have. That's one of the reasons I started building Buildory.

It's a platform where students can discover what others are building, showcase their own projects, and find collaborators based on skills and interests - not just which college they attend.

I'm especially interested in making hackathon team formation easier, while giving projects a life beyond the event.

Why we chose a tilt instead of a button?

Honestly, this started from frustration.

Every time we used a translation app in a real conversation, the same thing happened. Tap, wait, pass the phone, wait again. After a minute, nobody was really talking anymore. We were just staring at a screen, waiting for our turn.

So we tried something different. You hold the phone between you, each person sees their own side, and when you're done talking you just tilt it toward the other person. That's it. You keep looking at each other, and the conversation keeps going.

We launch tomorrow and we'd really love to hear from you:
