Hi I'm Tara! Building to eliminate repetitive and time-consuming tasks

Hi Everyone!

I m a longtime tech leader, entrepreneur, executive coach, mom of two, and someone who cares deeply about how technology can make our lives better.

After more than a decade in tech, I ve become especially interested in how we can use AI to eliminate the repetitive, time-consuming tasks that take up so much of our lives. Not just to help us do more, but to give us more time back for the things that matter - like running through the sprinkler and skiing down the slopes with my family.

I m currently leading go-to-market at Agenda Hero, where we re building tools to make managing and sharing the logistics of modern life a whole lot easier. No one should be manually creating calendar events anymore. We re actually launching something new here on Monday, and I m excited to be part of this community!

Has your product ever helped someone close to you?

Most of the time the people we build for are abstract. Personas, segments, users.

This week I set my mom up with something my team built and she caught domething she would have missed otherwise. Small thing. But watching someone you look up to get real value from your work hits different than a dashboard.

Card or no card for free trials?

Quick poll for founders (and anyone who tests out new SaaS tools): do you ask for a credit card upfront, or let people straight in?

We went with requiring a card for k dlo. The thinking was pretty simple: fewer signups overall, but higher intent people actually kick the tires instead of bouncing after two minutes. Without a card, you get a flood of accounts that log in once and ghost.

But I m genuinely torn here. A card wall definitely kills casual curiosity, especially when you're an unknown product. On the flip side, no-card trials often just give you vanity metrics that don't convert.

Two quick questions:
