For the past few months I've been building xCinder (xcinder.com), a dark, TweetDeck-style workspace for people who run several X accounts: agencies, community managers, founders with a brand account plus a personal one. It's still under heavy development, so I'd like to share what I've learned and hear how you handle the same problems.
What I learned while building it
1. People want fewer logins before they want more features. The most-used part is seeing several timelines side by side and choosing which account does what. So the deck is made of columns (Timeline, Profile, Bookmarks, Explore, Trending, Grok chat), each running through the account you pick.
You are halfway through debugging on a remote host. A command is still running, but you need another shell to inspect a log. Do you reconnect, pass through the jump host again, and find your working directory all over again?
This small interruption is why I added Duplicate Tab to xtty. It opens an independent SSH connection to the same host in the same remote directory, while the original session stays where it is. Watch that moment in our walkthrough:
I would love to compare workflows: do you use tmux, another terminal tab, an IDE, or something else for a second remote shell? What part still feels unnecessarily repetitive?
"Why are my emails going to spam?" is a question people now ask ChatGPT instead of Google. Until now, the answer was a generic checklist, because ChatGPT can't read your DNS.
