Ciao from Rome! From 90s MUDs to a 1:1 NASA-data Solar System in a browser tab.

Salve! I m Giuseppe, a developer who started in the trenches of the 90s Italian MUD scene (Lumen et Umbra). After 30 years in the industry, my 3-man team is using our life savings to build our dream: Zero-G.

We just hit 972/1,000 registration today and released Alpha 4.8.3. What makes us different?

  • Scientific Soul: We don't use "Skyboxes." We use real 1:1 NASA topographic data (LOLA/MOLA).

  • Hard Physics: master the Newtonian "Flip & Burn" or you won't survive the first docking.

  • The Incursion: We just recorded our first major player casualty a cargo ship lost to an Alien Jump-fleet near Mars. The first Purple Heart was awarded yesterday.

Zero-G Public Alpha starts today! - First public access to Zero-G persistent space simulation

We are thrilled to announce that the Zero-G Project is opening its Alpha version to the public starting now! Zero-G aims to be more than just a Sci-Fi MMO; we are trying to create a massive, multi-user space simulation. Our mission is to blend the immersive power of gaming with real-world scientific data (including using actual NASA terrain maps) to create an immersive, scientifically credible platform for exploration, discovery, and fun.
