We are thrilled to announce that the Zero-G Project is opening its Alpha version to the public starting now! Zero-G aims to be more than just a Sci-Fi MMO; we are trying to create a massive, multi-user space simulation. Our mission is to blend the immersive power of gaming with real-world scientific data (including using actual NASA terrain maps) to create an immersive, scientifically credible platform for exploration, discovery, and fun.










Hi Product Hunt! I'm the developer of Zero-G. I spent the last year architecting a persistent space MMO that runs entirely in a browser tab. I wanted to solve the problem of deep space sims having 50GB downloads and high hardware barriers.
We use real NASA topography for our planetary maps and a custom WebSocket backend for real-time persistence. I'm currently in Public Alpha and looking for technical feedback on our flight physics and server stability.
