I continue building UI pages for my email marketing platform using AI, and I wondered if AI generated UI designs are good enough for production apps?

They seem to work great on mobile devices and desktop screens. They load fast. They behave normally. I m personally perfectly fine and happy to use them in production, but what is your opinion? Am I missing something? Should I be worried about using them in production?
To build UI I use Lovable and Google Stitch. I go feature by feature, and for each feature I create a separate Git branch. This way I m more careful that one update does not break my entire website.

Tips for Better Imports

1. Use high contrast Black marker on white paper works best. Faded dry-erase markers confuse the AI.

2. Label your components Write "Logo", "Search", or "Button" next to your drawings. The AI reads your handwriting.

3. Photograph straight-on Avoid angles that distort proportions. Good lighting reduces shadows.

4. Show structure clearly Draw lines to separate Header, Main, and Footer areas. Group related items with boxes.

5. Start simple Import the core layout first, then add details in the editor.

Does design matter to developers? In my opinion, yes. Take Stripe, Linear, and Resend for example. Both dev-first products made craftsmanship a first principle.

Most design applications fail before the interview.

First your resume. Then your portfolio.

And the worst part? Silence.

I believe every project should have a website to showcase its offering, not to mention for SEO purposes. Whether SEO will still be relevant due to AI is another discussion.
