I ve been thinking about how messy the current build an app with AI workflow still is.
For a simple website or SaaS-style product, people often end up jumping between multiple tools:
one tool for UI generation
another for backend/database
another for auth
another for payments
another for deployment
and maybe something else for internal dashboards or admin tools
It works, but the workflow can get fragmented pretty quickly especially if you re not a full-stack developer.

The rule is simple: if your product can do something, code should be able to do it too. Chat, reports, settings, whatever. One feature, two surfaces.
This has always been good practice, but agents just changed the math on it completely.

If you're building a product with AI tools, here's how your morning probably looks:
Open ChatGPT. Paste your project context. Ask your question. Get a decent answer.
Switch to Claude for something else. Paste your context again. Different tool, same briefing.
Hop into your codebase with Codex. Paste context again.
You're not just a builder anymore. You're a context delivery system.
The indie hackers I've talked to who use AI most effectively have one thing in common: they've figured out how to stop babysitting their tools and just use them.

Thanks to supabase I was able to get my project up and running in record time. I use oauth, edge functions, storage, database ofcourse, queues:pgmq and pgvector.
Please check out the project at https://github.com/vpuna/vpuna-a...

We're genuinely excited about this one.You already start your day inside an AI - Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor. That's where the thinking happens. But the work lives somewhere else, and you spend all day copying between the two.So we're killing that gap: RunEvr is getting an MCP server. (MCP = the open standard - now backed by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google & the Linux Foundation - that lets your AI securely plug into real apps. RunEvr is becoming one.)Connect the AI you already use, and just talk:"Create a task for Sara to review the trailer, due Friday.""Did anyone reply to my thread about the poster?""What's waiting on me right now?"Your AI does it, and it shows up live in RunEvr for the whole team. Works with Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT.The best part: you don't pay us a penny extra. It runs on your own AI account - your existing free or paid Claude/ChatGPT plan. We don't meter it, don't upsell it, don't touch your bill. And one line we won't cross: your AI can never see more than you can. Same permissions as you - superpowers, not a backstage pass.Which AI do you live in - and what's the first thing you'd have it do in your workspace?--------------------- If you re just getting familiar with MCP, here are a few places to start:MCP official documentationMCP Apps2026 MCP Roadmap

I cofounded Zeplik, every frontier model in one chat, switchable mid conversation without losing context. Now building Arteza on the same idea for image, video, voice and music.
Most of what I've learned this year isn't the fun part. It's context handoff between providers who all format history slightly differently. It's pricing something whose underlying cost moves every few weeks. It's support tickets from people who don't believe the model actually switched, because the tone didn't change enough for them to notice.

Hi all, there's a distinction I keep thinking about: apps built with AI (Cursor, Claude, Copilot writing the code) vs apps that depend on AI APIs at runtime to function.
I'm in the first camp. I used AI-assisted coding heavily to build Briskly (a cleaning app that scans your room and generates a timed task list), but the app itself makes zero LLM API calls. The scanning runs on Apple's Vision framework, entirely on-device. No tokens, no per-user inference costs, no latency, works offline, and my privacy label is basically empty.

On their livestream today, OpenAI just released a bunch of new tools for reliably building and using AI agents. From what I can tell, this is what's new-
New APIs:
Responses API - a new multi-modal API that builds on chat completions to allow for the next-generation of tool calling, starting with the new tools announced today.

I have been looking at what is actually getting traction on Product Hunt right now. The pattern is clear.
In March, OpenClaw products dominated the leaderboard. Anything with "Claw" in the name got votes. That was a land grab new space, everyone rushing in to claim a spot .
In April, that stopped. The "just build an agent" strategy stopped working. What replaced it? Products that do specific tasks inside workflows you already have .
Here is what the data shows.

Lately I ve been wondering whether the one AI tool builds the whole product idea is actually what people want.
For a simple website or SaaS-style app, the workflow often ends up looking like this:
UI in one tool, backend somewhere else, auth/payment setup in another place, deployment on a different platform, and maybe an admin dashboard built separately.
That gives you flexibility, but it can also get messy fast especially for non-technical founders, small teams, or people trying to validate an idea quickly.

AI dev tools are evolving crazy fast , every few weeks there s a new must-try for vibe coders.
Some people are building full products with @ChatGPT by OpenAI and @Replit , others swear by @Cursor and @Claude by Anthropic , and a few are mixing @Lovable + @v0 by Vercel + @bolt.new to ship apps in record time.
I ve been refining my own vibe stack lately, trying to find that sweet spot between speed, control, and creativity. It made me wonder ,what does your setup look like right now?

Hey PH community
We're in the middle of our AppSumo launch for AI Context Flow, and I wanted to start a real conversation here rather than just drop a link.
The problem we're solving: most people using AI tools daily are paying what I call an "AI context tax", the time spent re-explaining your project, background, and goals every single session, to every single tool.
ChatGPT doesn't know who you are. Claude doesn't know who you are. Gemini doesn't know who you are. And if you're jumping between them (like most power users are), you're paying that tax multiple times a day.

AI dev tools are moving stupid fast. Every few weeks, there s a new must-use. Some stick. Most don t.
Some vibe coders are developing full products with @ChatGPT by OpenAI+ @Replit. Others swear by @Cursor + @Claude by Anthropic . A few are mixing @Lovable , @v0 by Vercel , and @bolt.new . New and shipping way faster than expected.
I ve been refining my own vibe stack lately.Building with @Google Antigravity at the core. It keeps the flow clean when things get messy.

I ve been testing the 'Free Tier' limits of the 2026 AI landscape. While everyone swears by Claude 3.7 or GPT-5.2, I m trying to find the 'Golden Ratio' for makers on a zero-budget.
My current findings for the Office Bee MVP:
The Brain: Gemini 3.1 Pro (via AI Studio) seems to have the highest 'Reasoning-per-Dollar' (free) for deep R&D.
The Frontend: v0 (Free Tier) for shadcn/ui components.
The Glue: Bolt.new for the initial scaffold.
The Challenge: Most 'free' models hallucinate complex state management in full-stack architectures.

I spend a lot more time on PH at the moment to see what indepedent makers are spending their time on. I've noticed some patterns and also want to share a little bit about my journey at South Park Commons. Most startup stories begin at zero when there s already a team, an idea, maybe even a prototype. But at South Park Commons (SPC), the philosophy is different: people gather in the -1 to 0 stage. That liminal space where you don t yet know what you re building or even if you should build at all. It s a place for exploration, experimentation, and being brutally honest about what s working and what s not.
A hallmark of SPC is how often industry leaders drop by to share what they ve learned in the wild. Recently, I was in a small chat with Tyler Payne former Google and LinkedIn AI lead, startup builder, who has spent the last decade helping teams actually ship real-world ML systems. We're always talking about what's being launched at SPC.

Hi all! I m working on an idea that came out of my own frustration:
There are SO many AI tools right now for writing, meetings, code, design, finance but it s getting overwhelming.
Even though I m deep in the AI world, I still find myself Googling things like: Best AI tools for solo founders ; Free AI video editing apps ; Is this tool even legit?
So here s the vision:
