More layoffs from Meta

Meta’s year of efficiency continues, and with it, another round of layoffs, letting go of a further 6,000 people. Thankfully, this seems to be the last round of layoffs that were part of the company’s restructuring plan.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT

Make your own Internet

Remember back in the early noughties when the Internet was still this new, and exciting technology, where every site you came across was totally unique to the previous one? Animated backgrounds, vibrant colors, and of course, MySpace themes.

Feeling nostalgic yet? What if we said you could return to the golden days of the Internet? The Browser Company, the team behind Arc, just released a new update for their personality-filled web browser called Arc Boosts.

Arc Boosts expands on the company’s mission of making the Internet fun again. Think of it like a visual editor to zap elements on a page into whatever you want. Want to change the default font to Comic Sans? Go for it! (Just don’t tell a designer.)

Once you’re done remixing the Internet, feel free to share it with the world. Alongside boosts, the company also launched the boost gallery, where users can upload and share their boosts with the Arc community.

If you think the Internet needs a refresh, and you’re the person to do it, check out…
