One of our favorite things here at Product Hunt is keeping an eye out for trends in the tech space. If youâve been following the Daily Digest for a while, you might have been one of the first to talk to your friends about generative AI or the resurgence of new spreadsheet and presentation products.
Right now, our eye is on email after seeing three high-performing launches in the past two weeks.
Resend took #2 Product of the Month in August with its new email for developers. The YC-backed startup is bold about its ambitions, telling TechCrunch that its vision isnât to become the next SendGrid, but the next Twilio.
âNobody is building an exceptional developer experience,â wrote founder Zeno Rocha. Resend tackles the problem by allowing developers to code emails using React, letting devs choose where emails are sent from (improving time-to-inbox), and offering a clean REST API and SDKs for Node.js, Python, Java, and more.
Newcomers Salesforge and Loops are fighting for your upvote today, too. Salesforge wants your sales emails to be better than the spammy ones clogging your inbox now. It uses AI and LinkedIn profiles to send personalized emails at scale and is focused on email deliverability to keep you out of the spam box.
Loops, another YC startup, wants to be your new all-in-one tool for transactional, marketing, and newsletters emails. Loops just wants to make email easy again â like Notion did for notes or Figma did for design.
The question for us remains: How do companies scale to the likes of SendGrid and MailChimp, and remain simple and limber?
Your agents stopped answering and started doing
Your agents call tools, write to databases and move money, so a wrong answer is now a wrong action, which is a considerably worse meeting. Arcjet runs policy before every LLM call, tool call, query and API request: prompt injection, sensitive data, bots, rate limits, spend quotas, and your own rules in Rego on top. It reads the OpenTelemetry you already emit, so switching it on is one environment variable, no code changes and nothing to deploy.
