The browser with a brain

OpenAI just launched ChatGPT Atlas, its own browser for macOS that puts the model inside every tab. You can highlight text to summarize or rewrite it, chat alongside any site, and keep an AI companion docked in split view. It even remembers context over time, though that memory raises some privacy eyebrows.
š„ Our Take: Atlas isnāt trying to reinvent the browser; itās trying to absorb it. You donāt go to ChatGPT anymore, it follows you around the web. Whether thatās helpful or creepy depends on how much you trust OpenAI to sit in the passenger seat.
Money first or product first?

Nika asked whether founders should figure out monetisation and distribution before building anything. The responses split fast. Some said itās pointless to build without knowing how youāll make money. Others said you canāt price or pitch what doesnāt exist. The real answer sat somewhere betweenābuild enough to prove itās worth selling, then worry about how to sell it.
You prompt your LLMs, why not your speech-to-text?

AssemblyAIās Universal-3 Pro introduces a new class of promptable speech modelsābuilt for real-world Voice AI. It handles domain-specific language, multiple languages, accents, and noisy audio with ease.
Unlike traditional ASR, Universal-3 Pro lets developers guide accuracy with prompts, combining the reliability of speech recognition with the controllability of LLMsāso youāre not stuck fixing transcripts after the fact.
AssemblyAI is opening free access throughout February, and the Product Hunt community is among the first to try what promptable ASR can do.

Win local search, turned up

Cheers GEO is a platform built for service businesses that want to dominate in the age of AI recommendations. Instead of chasing keywords, it helps you build the reputation signals that assistants like ChatGPT and GoogleāÆGemini use to pick which companies get shown. It hooks into your frontline team, badges, NFC taps, mobile flows, so every realāworld interaction becomes visible and traceable online.Ā
š„ Our Take: Forget chasing SEO ghosts. Cheers GEO offers something sharper: it turns your team into a signal generator. Every review, every tap, every mention starts feeding the machine that decides who gets seen. If your business depends on "someone nearby showed up and did a good job," this tool gets you ready for AI-driven discovery.
Writing, without the nonsense

MonsterWriter is a focused writing app built for long-form work. It takes care of structure, references, and formatting so you donāt waste time fixing styles or fighting Word. You just write and export when itās done.
š„ Our Take: This feels like what every writing app should have been by now. Quiet, stable, and genuinely useful. It doesnāt try to motivate you or track your habits. It just helps you get the words out and keeps them clean.
