AI but for your brain

gm legends, happy Tuesday.
PopTask is for catching the task before it disappears, Dictura lets you speak in one language and have it land in another without the usual copy-paste circus, and Metabase Data Studio is here for every team whose numbers got a little too open to interpretation.
So we’re just… talking to software now?

ElevenLabs has been the go-to for voice for a while. Now they've turned that expertise into agents that actually get things done. You set one up, it talks like a real person, listens, responds, and helps handle the task — support calls, bookings, whatever the job is. Not a demo, not a "press 1 for sales" situation. It's ready to deploy. Feels like one of those shifts where the interface quietly changes. Less typing, less clicking, more just saying what needs to happen and letting it play out.
Never forget a task

PopTask is a lightweight macOS task manager that lives in your menu bar and is built for getting things out of your head fast. You can type messy, shorthand stuff like mtg w team mon wed fri 9am and it cleans it up, figures out the time, and schedules it. It also supports seven languages, smart reminders, and on-device task parsing.
🔥 Our Take: This is for people who do not need a whole productivity system every time they remember one thing. The menu bar makes sense because the job is not managing your life. The job is catching the task before it disappears.
Speak in one language, send in another

Dictura lets you hold a key, talk naturally, and drop clean text straight into whatever app your cursor is in. Slack, Gmail, VS Code, WhatsApp, wherever. The extra trick is built-in translation, so you can speak in the language you think in and have it come out in the one you need to write in. It works across 60+ languages on macOS and Windows, with on-device and cloud modes.
🔥 Our Take: The nice part here is it matches how people actually think. You say the sentence in the language that comes naturally, and it lands where it needs to in the app you are already using. No detour through Translate, no copy-paste ritual, no breaking your flow halfway through a thought.
Revenue should not mean five different things

Metabase Data Studio is a new workbench inside Metabase for cleaning up raw tables, defining shared metrics and segments, and building the semantic layer underneath your dashboards. It is meant to keep analytics from drifting once more people, dashboards, and AI queries start piling on.
🔥 Our Take: This is for the point where analytics stops being neat and starts getting political. One team’s revenue is not the next team’s revenue, dashboardas start disagreeing with each other, and suddenly nobody trusts the numbers. This is basically telling you to maybe sort that out before letting a bot talk about your business.
Ship fast but maybe not that fast

Mona wrote about the part people leave out when they romanticize speed. She and her team were shipping constantly, features looked polished, demos looked good, and users still did not care. The shift came when they stopped sprinting for a minute, sat with a few users properly, and realized the real problems were tone, clarity, and feature overload, not output. Good post if you have ever confused moving quickly with actually learning anything.
