I really like 24Slides because their designs are fresh. They use icons, colors, and shapes in a way that you can put many important pieces of info in a single slide without it being too crowded or too heavy. As always, a lot will depend on how you use it. My recommendation is to adapt the slides to your own style or to your branding guidelines and really use them as templates. However, if you are not tied to a corporate brand, you can simply add text and get your job done a lot quicker.

One of the best services in the last decade, why other presentations firms did not take the same approach with a freemium service, shows why walled gardens are often way too walled.
