I've been a paying subscriber for a long time and don't regret it for a second. Anyone working in retail, consumer, media or branding should subscribe to this incredibly insightful content! Keep up the good work Web!

I hope you have a nice day.

Pros:

2PM is cheat codes. The info inside has pushed me outside of my bubble and allowed me to help grow my agency.

Cons:

If less of you sign up, I'll be less elite but that's OK.

Web Smith
One of these days, we will get back together. Thank you for this.

Luckily, the format makes it incredibly easy to skim one week — just so you're on top of the game (and can sound smart on Twitter) — and then dig in another week and really do work.

Pros:

It's not a question of signing up vs the membership (do both). Really it's about making the time to give it the attention it deserves.

Cons:

I donno … maybe videos or audio? (But that's a very small maybe)

Web Smith
Audio product on the way!
Patrick Coddou

Nope.

Pros:

2PM is by far the top resource for ecommerce, retail, and publishing trends, news, and analysis. It's must-subscribe.

Cons:

None. The website is always improving from an already impressive resource.

Patrick, thank you so much for this.

I've been paying member since day one. It provides so much value for the price. Web Smith is one of the most insightful and kind people in the ecommerce industry — I always value his perspective. 2PM started as a newsletter and a labor love, but it's been amazing to see it grow into a fully fledged resource for anyone looking to understand the DTC space. The increased cadence and depth of reporting just keeps getting better!

Pros:

Very insightful and frequent commentary on the DTC/ecommerce space with depth that you cannot find from any other publication.

Cons:

Super minor, but logging into the website could be improved.

Web Smith
Stephan, I agree. So does Andrew Johnson (Rehash Agency). We are working on a fix. But at least we added universal login to the top! Will be better within a few weeks (small team).

The only newsletter I block out time to make sure I read every week. Highly recommend to make the jump to the paid membership.

Incredible resource for ecommerce. Like others here, it's been a "secret weapon" of mine, helping me act and be more insightful in conversations around commerce. It's also one of the best gifts I give to other entrepreneurs in the biz of DTC / DNVBs. I'm suuuuper strict on what I consume (I'm an inbox zero kinda guy) and curate my subscriptions carefully, so it means a lot for me to say this is one of those emails I prioritize reading over others.

Left more in my comments below. TLDR; it's my secret weapon for staying on top of the ecommerce/DTC industry.

Pros:

Amazing content, expertly curated, insanely relevant.

Cons:

SO MUCH CONTENT. 3x a week is a little too much for me, I end up missing one of the briefings (or super skimming it.)

The only ecommerce newsletter you need to read. All the top news including additional expert analysis and very clear tie backs to predictions Web made months prior to an event. On top of that, the executive membership gets you access to dozens of lists with thousands of brand names from the leaders in ecommerce shipping, to the rising hot to trot, to the agencies making it all come to life. You don't want to miss this one. The only thing I hate about this being on Product Hunt is that more people know about it – because it truly gives insiders a leg up.
