Hey there, Code Reactions by adadot! 👋 I must say, I love this idea! Adding emoji reactions to a Git repo sounds like a great way to inject fun and expressiveness into code collaboration. 😄👍 I have a couple of questions: Can these reactions be customized to include other emojis beyond those mentioned in the description? And how do these reactions integrate with existing code review tools, such as GitHub or GitLab? Also, have you considered adding a feature that allows users to add custom comments along with their reactions? It could be a great way to provide specific feedback or suggestions directly within the code. I am looking forward to hearing more about your product. Keep up the amazing work! 🚀

Hi @alex_kachalov we're stoked to hear that you like the idea, and we're glad for the great questions 🙏! Let me go through them one by one: 1. Currently there are about 7 emojis (more than the ones mentioned as example above). Our plan is, if people like the tool, to add support for all native emojis, and then also potentially the ability to add custom emojis. We just started with a small subset of emojis only as a first step. 2. The reactions follow the code itself and can be viewed straight in the IDE. The extension can be used alongside the review tools, but it can also be used beyond reviewing (eg marking a piece code, giving feedback on a line of code even if you missed the review window). We are discussing about adding support for the reactions to be reflected in the GitHub web interface as well. 3. Yes we have, and it is already possible!! You can write a comment alongside with the emoji reaction in order to provide specific feedback, suggestions, context and any additional info might be relevant to the reaction! Please let us know of any more questions you may have, or additional clarifications on the above. 😄 Also, we'd love to hear any additional feedback if you get to the chance use it!
