AirPosture: AirPods as a Posture Coach - Your AirPods already know when you're slouching

by
AirPosture turns your AirPods into a real-time posture coach. No wearables, no cameras — just the motion sensors already in your ears. It detects when you slouch, tracks your posture score across sessions, and nudges you to sit up straight. Built for anyone who spends hours at a desk and ends the day with neck and back pain. Start a session, put your AirPods in, and let them do what Apple never thought of. Free to start.

Hey PH! 👋 Relja here, solo iOS dev from Serbia. I spend 10+ hours a day at my desk coding. My neck and back were destroyed. I tried posture correctors, sticky notes on my monitor, timers to remind me to sit up — nothing stuck. Then I realized I'm already wearing a sensor on my head all day — AirPods. Apple built motion tracking into them for Spatial Audio, but nobody was using it for posture. So I built AirPosture. Put your AirPods in, start a session, and it tracks your head position in real time. Slouch forward and it catches you immediately. At the end you get a posture score showing how much of the session you spent in bad position. No extra hardware. No camera watching you. Just the AirPods you already own. 603 people downloaded it organically in the first wave and the feedback has been amazing. Would love to hear: How do you currently deal with desk posture? Would daily/weekly posture reports be useful? Here all day 🙏
