I tried it out on a 500 word article. It badly misinterpreted the content and made numerous grammatical errors. See the result here: https://halfanhour.blogspot.com/...

@stephen_downes For Factual content, I would highly recommend using the Formal mode. Let me know how it performs with Formal mode

I'm sorry to say it's even worse. It inserted a number of factually false statements into the article (for example, "The number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in Canada are on the rise") and started quoting Obama priorities and talking about Republican policies, which have nothing to do with an article on Canadian politics.

I see potential. Although the resulting verbiage is not what I would call a final draft, there is enough substance that a few minor corrections make the AI output useable. However, using the same starting text and running it through the tool repeatedly degrades the output to the point of being unusable. It seems like the AI starts trying to create its own context, using external sources, for what it is analyzing instead of staying within the boundaries of what it has been provided. I used something from NYT that discussed Putin and NATO and got back text that referenced Tony Soprano in one instance and Jack Bauer in another. I could understand the connection, but still those references had nothing to do with the actual subject matter of the article. Nonetheless, I am intrigued to see how this tool evolves and improves.

Tried a couple of phrases from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. one gave me the exact phrase back with 20% uniqueness. Another gave me a new phrase ending with "Use Grammarly to make sure all your key".

@justin_gardner I think you are doing something wrong because the software always return a higher uniqueness level (more than 50%). I would recommend you sign up with the free trial as it will give you access to all modes.

Disappointing as usual: over-promised and under-delivered. Maybe AI just isn't there yet.

I'm really interested in trying your product, it seems very useful indeed. Congrats on your launch, that's just what I need today!
