Love Akiflow! It's the missing link between Notion and my Calendar, and there's nothing else like it.

Akiflow is one of many recent entries into the time blocking/calendar/task management productivity tools. This is magic for me as I have hoped for more than a decade to have a wealth of options for time blocking. All of these new apps show that this methodology is finally being taken seriously and I look forward to seeing tools develop around it. As far as Akiflow, I feel like the system is one of the leaders in the space. The development pace is great and the iterations are solid. The feature set is growing at a nice pace. I've recommended it to many friends and colleagues. I do find it to cost a little more than I'm willing to invest for this type of tool, especially given that I have access to similar tools at lower cost. But there is definitely value in Akiflow and many people who are not as frugal as I am will be fine paying the current price. The recent 2-way integration with Notion does have me reconsidering a subscription, but I'll need to take another test drive to see how that works in real-time. Of the 10 similar products I am currently testing, I would put Akiflow in the top half. If price is not an issue I think it's top 3. Definitely recommended.

On the 1st of Juli I Hit “E” to mark a task as done. It was the begin of a good journey. Congrats on the integration, but I have to say, it changed my mind in this. I also wanted integrations. I used Todoist and had it connected. Until a month ago, when I cancelled that subscription and deleted the app, because I can just do what I’m looking for in Akiflow :-). What I would really like is a ‘privacy premium plan’ were its not so dependent on Google. Here in The Netherlands and EU, privacy has more value, even so that it is expected that Google Analytics might be forbidden end of this year. Putting their server center in Germany or wherever is nice, but if the company is American all data is still accessible without Reasonable cause. You could think about adding akiflow.com mail addresses with that premium plan; that directly an excellent way to create brand awareness 😎. Or partner up with Proton for instance. I don't like Google and I'm not the only one around ;-). But what remains: I like Akiflow, also because it's still a clean and straightforward interface. Please don't just start adding features to it :). Do it the way it was done so far: “Iterate the product while relying upon your creativity, just don't create a Picasso but stick to your purpose and help customers increase productivity.” (nice rhyme by the way ✌️) All the best, with 💙 from Amsterdam ❌❌❌
