Hello Product Hunt Fam 😻 It’s a big day for us, after over a year building Alice, to be able to finally launch it here! The idea for Alice came in the early days of ChatGPT, when we discovered that LLMs are pretty good at running thousands of automations that we already have in place, built with Make and Zapier. After hundreds of iterations, we’ve managed to create a first version of Alice that can not only answer questions but also run actions within the apps we use. It means you can ask Alice to draft and send an email campaign or posts for social media. Today we just can’t imagine working without Alice, and so do our teams. Because Alice is connected to our services, our colleagues can request to add a subscription to a user or make a refund. We've made Alice so accessible that anyone, even non-technical person can benefit from it! Alice is something we wanted from AI for ourselves: a beautiful UI, running natively on the desktop, fast and responsive, with many available models (also offline), prompts at our fingertips, and running actions in the apps we use. Now, it can help you, too! Although there’s a lot of AI Assistants out there, once you see Alice, you’ll immediately know there’s nothing like it. Promise! Plus we have tons of inspirations and materials for you to take your productivity to the next level. Please, check out Alice at: https://heyalice.app She's pretty powerful and can: ✅ Work with multiple models, including Claude 3, OpenAI and Perplexity ✅ Save prompts as Snippets that you can run with command or keyboard shortcut ✅ Run actions within thousands of apps you're using, with automations ✅ Create many assistants suited for different tasks ✅ Generate images and analyse them with Vision Can't wait for you to check it out! PS: For the launch, we’ve prepared a special lifetime deal on Alice. You can buy the app once and use it forever 🎉

@gregrog Everything under one roof! Great, you integrated Claude 3. It's better than ChatGPT4 in many cases. Great work, guys!
Greg Rog
@csaba_kissi thanks a lot for this, really appreciate it! 🙌
Adam Gospodarczyk
@gregrog @csaba_kissi yep! Claude 3 Opus is TOP#1 on https://huggingface.co/spaces/lm... 🔥

As the designer responsible for Alice's UI, my aim was to craft an interface that's not just beautiful with its modern design but also simple for anyone to use. I focused on making sure you could navigate through it smoothly, find what you need without any hassle, and complete your tasks quickly. My biggest hope is that Alice becomes more than just another app; I want it to be a reliable helper you turn to every day for support, making your daily routine easier and more efficient. Good luck with the launch Greg and Adam!
Greg Rog
@matsugfx and you've done a fantastic job, as always! Thank you so much for helping us making this happen 💚
Adam Gospodarczyk
@matsugfx It was great working with you, Matt! True, I can't count the hours I spent implementing the smallest details from your project (and I know there's still a bit to do), but it must be admitted that the result is simply brilliant — thanks to you!
Dimitrie Baitanciuc
The key will be its seamless app integration and reliability. Wish you good luck!
Greg Rog
@dimitrie_baitanciuc it's the best version of it with LLMs for now. What future brings, we'll be ready. Native integrations will come to Alice one day 🫡

Ok so this one: "Run actions within thousands of apps you're using, with automations" Can it really control apps? Can I ask Alice to perform things on slack for instance? reply to my team when I'm sleeping etc? Or batch slack actions?
Greg Rog
@sentry_co yes, you can :) Please watch this playlist especially, there's a lot of examples e.g. scheduling a meeting on Zoom, event in Google Calendar, adding a todo on Todoist, getting GA4 report and more! Few examples on how this works: Scheduling Social Media Posts with Alice and AI
And the whole playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist...
André J
@gregrog Its a bit too much work and complexity 😅 Can it like. Hey Alice. For any new dms on slack. when I'm a sleep. Reply: "Im sleeping I will get back to you when I wake up" or anther prompt like: Send our producthunt link to all my friends on LinkedIn?
Adam Gospodarczyk
@gregrog @sentry_co At this stage of AI development, a solution that can be customized seems more appropriate than trying to create something that fits everyone. This obviously draws a certain barrier of knowledge or skills necessary to design (often simple) integrations. So, for now, Alice is created in the form of a kind of "blank slate" on which you can draw whatever you want 🙂
André J
@gregrog @overment I see your point. Altho. What about this: You make an An AI that can work with Alice and design the flows for you. So you describe it and it tries to line up the flows. It just felt a bit overwhelming in the videos. But maybe my impression is wrong. Maybe just make the videos for simpler cases and then the viewer is easier sold and can tinker them selfs. I guess you are right tho. We are in the "Tinker AI era" We are not in the "everything just works from a single command AI era" yet
Greg Rog
@overment @sentry_co maybe that's overwhelming for a start, but in fact this can be easily accomplished by anyone, even non technical person. The fact that you can tweak it is on this stage an advantage, because literally you can do whatever you want with it. Realistically, there's absolutely no way you tell AI do come up with flows like this nowadays and that's just a simple hack for making it really useful. Going through a basic playlist will get you there in one hour. And I guarantee once you learn how this works you'll be like a kid in Disneyworld! 🎢
Alex Dulub
Hello Greg, Congratulations on the launch of Alice! It's exciting to see how AI can move beyond mere answers and actually execute actions within the apps we use daily. The concept of having a native app that integrates so deeply with our workflows sounds like a game-changer. I'm curious, what was the most challenging part of developing Alice to interact with such a wide range of applications? Best wishes for a successful launch! Cheers!
Greg Rog
@alex_dulub Thanks for the comment! Currently the integration with apps is handled via API and webhooks. You create simple automations that are remote actions in Alice. At this stage of Alice and AI it's just the best concept that gives you real results. This way we can easily work with our software and so do our teams and Alice early users. In future, we will introduce more native integrations, so that the experience is even more serious and probably this will be the most challenging or rather time consuming part.
Adam Gospodarczyk
@alex_dulub huge thanks! > I'm curious, what was the most challenging part of developing Alice to interact with such a wide range of applications? As Greg wrote, currently Alice is primarily a flexible interface. You can connect to it, for example, with the help of the make.com platform, where you can easily create integrations that you will connect with Alice. Check out our video materials, you can find them on heyalice.app. As you can guess, creating integrations for many applications and moreover, ones that will be tailored to each of the users is too complex but also imposes unnecessary limitations. In the case of Alice, there are no such limitations, and you can tailor everything to your needs.
Guillaume Bardet
Big congrats on the launch, as an early adopter I got to see the progress you all made day by day and it's been amazing to watch! I can't wait to see what else Alice can do for my workflow 🙌
Greg Rog
@guillaumebardet thanks a lot we appreciate this 🔥🫶 and thanks for all the help ❤️
Adam Gospodarczyk
@guillaumebardet thank you for your support! It means a lot to us!

Wow, what use cases do you see with the Stripe integrations? Stripe has so many options and is so confusing this could be a game-changer for me lol!
Adam Gospodarczyk
@iamjasonlevin one of them is our checkout, which you can find under the purchase button (I'm not asking you to buy the app right now, but take a look at what we have underneath. That's our second product, powered by Stripe btw). At some point, Alice can integrate with it, including additional tools that make up the ecosystem we are developing, easy.tools.
Greg Rog
@iamjasonlevin I have a few integrations with Stripe on Alice, mostly for reporting. For example I can ask what was yesterdays sales. Also I can generate invoices and quick links to checkout with Alice!

The lifetime deal is really an annual subscription for those who want to receive all future updates. Does the renewal price cost the same? (Eg. $99 for solo etc).
Greg Rog
@steventhemaker not entirely! You won't be locked out of the app. You can use the version you have forever! It's rather our guaranteed support. If things go well and we have the resources we want to release every major version once a year, so it's similar to other desktop software I suppose. If you want to upgrade to v3, you will get the reduced price offer, if not, you can safely stay with the previous one!
Wojtek
Bye bye Siri, hello Alice 🫶 🤩

Piotr Palarz
Great work as always! Almost unlimited possibilities (see tutorials on YouTube) and time-saver like nothing else.
Greg Rog
@piotr_palarz thanks a bunch Piotr!
Adam Gospodarczyk
@piotr_palarz, how about giving Alice a few "easytools"? 😁 Thank you!
Piotr Palarz
@overment that would be awesome! Alice has a solid foundation to go in any direction imaginable and I can't wait to see what else you come up with :)
