I highly recommend watching the trailers Greg and Adam have shared on their social media profiles. Watching them will give you a better understanding and appreciation of the unique qualities, heart and work that has gone into creation of Alice.
@lukasz_kuchna1 thank you! That’s great point actually. There’s a bit to learn to get the maxim from Alice! I tried to create as many examples as I could :) definitely recommend the playlists on https://youtube.com/@techsistenc...
@steventhemaker automations are based on webhooks. We have JSON mode in Alice that helps to convert your request properly and then sends out to a webhook e.g. zapier, make, or own API in many cases.

@gregrog I think there's a bit of confusion. OpenRouter is an interface to interact with a wide variety of LLMs through one API key. Many AI apps integrate with it as an alternative to using the OpenAI or Anthropic API key.

@overment Just bought Alice, and want to make a feature request to add OpenRouter. Hopefully you can consider it as it would be a valuable addition for your users.
Having tried Alice and been shown how to use it properly it's wild at the amount of superpowers it can give you.
Congrats on the launch folks and looking forward to making it a daily driver!
Oh boy, where to start with Alice? This app is a game-changer! It's like having your personal army of AI assistants ready to conquer your daily tasks. Need to manage your calendar or to-do list? Alice has got your back.
But it doesn't stop there. With integrations like Make.com, Alice helps you generate social media content, streamline your document workflow, and even support your strategy and brainstorming sessions. It's like having a super-powered sidekick in your pocket.
Searching databases? Alice makes it a breeze. It's opened up a whole new world of creativity for me. Honestly, Alice has revolutionized how I use AI and my computer. It's not just an app, it's a productivity powerhouse!
@jjmanno thanks for asking! All we put on website is free, we also have an extensive library of knowledge on techsistence.com and on YouTube. We're thinking, however, about launching a cohort for AI and automation. We have so much to share!
Don't have public roadmap just yet, it's a great idea. I'm sharing what we have internally as some possible future features, but it's not sure just yet:
- [ ] In-app notifications
- [ ] Ability to call an agent to the conversation via @
- [ ] Automatic preselection of mode eg. dalle based on content
- [ ] Automatic preselection of snippet when mentioned (mainly for actions)
- [ ] Ability to import agents / installation from marketplace
- [ ] Working with larger documents e.g. translations from Notion
- [ ] Connecting whisper for transcribing audio / video files
- [ ] Ability to add files to assistants
- [ ] Compact version after selecting text
- [ ] Voice communication capability like with Siri
- [ ] Access to all or defined internet resources
- [ ] Memory and information saving
- [ ] Native integrations, e.g. Google calendar
- [ ] Support for PDF, CSV files, etc.
I have been a user of the beta version of Alice for many months. Since I've been using this application, I've been seriously considering whether there's any point in paying for access to ChatGPT Plus, since I perform almost every action in Alice.
The ability to bring up the application window with a simple keyboard shortcut is simply brilliant and saves an incredible amount of time. The ability to save pre-prepared (sometimes very elaborate) prompts in the application also makes things effortless.
If an Alice user is familiar with programming (or at least embraces no-code solutions), he or she can easily add remote actions and integrations to the assistant via webhooks (I'm using Make to handle that.)
I haven't yet used the integration with models outside of OpenAI ecosystem, but for the daily grind of my business, the GPT-4 integration is completely sufficient.
