I've been observing the development of this project closely for more than a year now. I even used Alice's predecessor.
I've seen @overment "giving birth" to Alice. I saw how he taught her the first steps, how well he's been raising her, and now I am witnessing Alice reaching adulthood. Quite an achievement if you ask me.
For what it's worth - knowing Adam's and Greg's passion for quality, you won't regret supporting them.
Since I started using Alice, it has become an essential tool in my work. It's reliable, and the possibility of integrating it with automations brings a whole new dimension to optimizing processes and increasing productivity!
Happy to hear that Alice has launched! I already tried the Alice and in just a few minutes I connected my make.com scenarios using webhooks, I love it, so I can't wait to start using Alice for posting to my social media channels and use the microphone talks to my AI accountant assistant.
Thanks Greg & Adam for such a great tool!
It's alive for the rest of the Universe!
I have been a part of closed beta access and I am a big fan of Alice .
There are 3 main reasons I like it personally:
- you can speak with Apple Dictation or even embedded transcribe to it, no hands needed
- you can configure all your API keys to the most important LLM's and prompt them from single location as well keeping your prompt templates as snippets
- you can trigger actions in other automation systems and apps via webhook (e.g. Make.com / Home Assistant Webhook / Qlik Automation etc.pp.) and this place is still heavily under-experimented by me yet and possibilities are endless once it's such an open app
What I would love to see from creators:
- that it launches as well as iOS App and small Apple Watch app one day :)
The main challenge here is to quit your habbits and get extended with AI assistants! That's the hardest part, because app is already here!
Kudos to Adam and Grzegorz for achieving that milestone!

@pawel_manowiecki thanks so much for the brain-hands interface comments. From what I can see here this becomes a unique thing nowadays :))
Thank you for the ongoing support and I'm so happy that Alice drives value for you, Paweł! Thank you!
@kamil_karbowski we don't know yet. We're receiving the first inquiries and will consider them. For now, however, we're sticking with MacOS/Windows.

I'm super impressed with what I see here. It's so great to see someone leveraging LLMs on the desktop to interact with the apps we use every day and tightly integrate common LLM tasks into keyboard shortcuts. Does the lifetime deal include lifetime access to the models too?
@carterparks thanks for the reply! No, the models actually are via your API keys or our AI Credits plan. But good news is there are also offline and open source models that you'd be able to use with Alice, for example you can connect Ollama and this will be free :)

@gregrog Thanks for the clarity here. Doesn't change my opinion on what you're doing though. Hope today is a great success for you all!
Used the first version of Alice when I joined Adam and Greg's course. I was clunky but I can blindly go into the new version because what these guys are doing and how they iterate and build their products is stellar. Highly recommended for anybody who wants to add an extra level to their game!
@joanna_frota_kurkowska it's true the first versions has gone a long way up to this point :) Really happy that we've managed to get to the point where Alice is now. Thanks for the support!
