Amber - Bitcoin on autopilot

by
Amber is an Australian-based Bitcoin accumulation app that spawned an entire generation of DCA products around the world.
We make it easy to Dollar Cost Average (DCA), auto-buy-the-dip, auto-withdraw, and accumulate the hardest money, scarcest asset on Earth.

I'm an investor so I'm biased, but I love this product. Nice work @aleksandar_svetski

Simple, elegant and effective app. Built for anyone who wants an easy and secure way to acquire bitcoin. I've been using this app from its beta version and extremely satisfied with the progress the team has made and how they have listened to the users feedback to build the most requested features. Keep up the great work Amber #legends for helping the average person easily and securely access bitcoin.

Sorry if I missed the answer to this already @aleksandar_svetski but will you offer ETH, XRP etc soon?
Aleks Svetski
@aleksandar_svetski @ronanawall hey mate - won’t be happening at all. We’re a sound money savings app so purely focused on bitcoin only.
Rudra
Hi, the product looks very promising but I'm curious about the state of security in the application itself?
Ryan Neale
@0xrudra Hey Rudra! We keep all of our funds in offline multi-sig cold storage. In other words no single party has access to any funds and release of funds requires multiple party authorization. It’s the safest method of storing bitcoin. You can learn more about our security here: https://unchained-capital.com/bl...

@0xrudra @ryanamberapp But what about the regular pentesting?

Is it just me, or is this app nowhere to be found in the app store?
Ryan Neale
@bentg Hey Ben, we're currently only available in Australia
Aleks Svetski
@bentg Hey mate - it's only on the Aussie App Store for now. We're coming to the US next year, so watch this space (follow us on Twitter for announcement)

Hello @aleksandar_svetski when will Amber be available to folk in Zimbabwe?
Aleks Svetski
@aleksandar_svetski @clydeugene hey man! Hopefully 2021. We’ll be piloting in SA first and if all goes well, Zimbabwe will be a next stop

New user in the last 24 hours. Thoroughly enjoyed reading all these comments and reviews. Especially liked your advice to a fella who asked "what are the first 3 things a new user should do". Your reply; 1) link a bank account for DD much like a gym membership 2) set up a recurring investment (eg; $50/wk) 3) close the app & get on with your life, knowing that it’s working in the background 👌🏽 I had actually just done that before I read it. First debit comes out Wednesday 🤑🚀

Hey @adam_hall1 Haha - glad you liked that. It's exactly why we built this thing. Set & forget. We've all got more important things to do with our lives than to stare at charts & blindly chase yield. Bitcoin is about long term wealth preservation, and the fact that it's so early, means early holders will benefit from it's value (and price) appreciation. Hence dollar cost averaging. Appreciate the support man!
