Love this concept, looking forward to trying it. So time consuming to get all the information you share in the app. Thanks

Amanda Zhu

Congrats on the launch!!

Lawrence Coburn

@amanda_zhu Thanks Amanda! We couldn't do it without Recall.

Just an email that preps you for the day? It is simple and practical!

Lawrence Coburn

@christyfea that's right, dead simple, it just works, it takes 30 seconds to set up, and it will show up in your inbox every day.

Ioannis Bakagiannis

Awesome work! Really like the feel of it.

Sounds like a great tool for busy founders! I'm curious how well it handles conflicting information from different sources.

Taylor McLoughlin

@dloux Appreciate the thoughtful question! We actually take a layered approach: one agent does the raw pulls (LinkedIn, Perplexity, web search, etc.), and then more layers cross-check and flag inconsistencies. If sources don’t line up, we surface that directly in the briefing instead of smoothing it over because in a meeting, knowing where the conflict comes from is often just as important as the data itself.

Lawrence Coburn

@dloux sometimes it will even lay out a section in the dossier of things it's not sure about that the user should do their own research on.

Lawrence Coburn

@dloux great question. Ambient tries to give citations on everything, and when we see conflicting info, we try and call that out in a "to be verified" section.

Sounds like a great tool .I'm curious how well it handles conflicting information from different sources.

Taylor McLoughlin

@riya_saha34 Great question! The way we handle it is by layering the agents, one pulls raw data from different sources (LinkedIn, Perplexity, web, etc.), then another cross-checks and flags inconsistencies. Instead of “blending” things into one answer, the briefing will actually surface the conflict so you know there’s a discrepancy. In practice, that gives you a faster read on what’s reliable and what might need clarifying in the meeting. Over time we’re also tuning which sources get more weight depending on the type of call.

Congrats on the launch and having Outlook there as the calendar. usually, that's one thing which is missing.

there's not much info about data privacy. what information do you collect and how do you process it? also, i see there's a note-taker reference, does that join all the meetings in the calendar. is it required for the briefings to be created?

Huisong Li

@tmcloughlin Congratulations. And happy product launch.

Taylor McLoughlin

@huisong_li Thanks!
