Hi Product Hunt 👋 I am Eldar, co-founder and CEO of Vertice. This is my third company, and today we are launching Ana, the AI negotiation agent for software purchases. The problem we set out to solve: Software vendors negotiate hundreds of contracts a year, while most customers see each purchase once. That imbalance is why companies end up overpaying. In Q2 2026, 72% of smaller software contracts renewed automatically with no review at all. Procurement teams handle the larger and more strategic contracts well, but nobody has time for the hundreds of smaller tools a company pays for every year. What Ana does: Ana reads your requirements, builds the negotiation strategy, drafts every email and tracks every round, updating the plan the moment a vendor responds. Ana is trained on $75bn+ of vendor spend across 32,000+ vendors, so every move is grounded in real negotiation outcomes, not generic advice. The value of the agent is not just that it can run the negotiations, but that the agent provides the strategy behind said negotiation. As said by Tanya Wade, a Senior Procurement Transformation Advisor: "What's the value above just asking a general AI to do this for you? The value is in the data - being able to use your own data, plus Vertice's own proprietary data, which would take a huge amount of work to replicate yourself. And it doesn't sound like AI at all - I'm genuinely impressed.” My team and I are here all day to answer questions. Tell us: which software renewal do you dread most? 👇

, congrats on the launch! Sounds super interesting.
How effective is it? Is it relevant for SMBs trying to apply it to $ 40–$50/month SaaS contracts?

Thank you for the question, Adrian. Ana was built to focus on long tail software spend in larger organizations, where individual contracts are still big enough for a negotiation to move price and terms. Contracts at the $40 to $50 per month level sit outside what it was designed for. Where Ana does fit, procurement buyers using it achieve an average of 18% savings, and it has negotiated $500m in spend across more than 4,000 negotiations.

For tools at that price point, vendors usually sell on fixed self-serve pricing, so there is little room to negotiate. The bigger wins tend to come from removing unused seats, consolidating overlapping tools, and moving to annual billing where the discount justifies it.

This one is interesting to me because I'm on both sides of it. I sell SaaS, and I've also bought more than 260 products on AppSumo. The part you're aiming at, the hundreds of smaller tools nobody has time to review, is exactly where renewals slip by unnoticed, so it makes a lot of sense to start there.

Hey Product Hunt I am Gabriel. Today we're launching Ana!

It benchmarks what you should be paying, writes the vendor emails, handles the back-and-forth, and knows when to stop.

Fun lesson from building it: "we're on a tight budget" almost never works. A specific, honest number does. So Ana never makes up a budget.

What's the worst price increase you've just accepted?

Hi, I'm Ethan - head of Data at Vertice. I'm really excited by Ana's launch today. Ana has already saved money for our customers through building detailed negotiation strategies and effective emails, and adapting its responses based on the vendor and Vertice's underlying negotiation and pricing data set. Happy to answer any questions about how Ana works :)

the one about Dial I dread is our SMS/carrier pass-through contracts, those renew on a schedule nobody owns. curious about the email side specifically - when Ana drafts and sends on my behalf, does the vendor rep know they're negotiating with an agent, or does it read as me writing it? that Tanya Wade quote about "doesn't sound like AI at all" is a selling point for us but I'd guess it cuts the other way for the vendor once they figure out what's actually on the other end of the thread

It's a widespread problem for sure - contracts renew without oversight, and Ana was built to prevent that. Alongside Ana, the Vertice platform enables you to maintain control and visibility over your stack, with automated reminders scheduled for upcoming renewals so nothing slips through the cracks. You can run Ana as a negotiation copilot: Ana drafts emails personalized to you, which you can review before sending. It's sent from a managed inbox under your name, on your terms and requirements.
