Ancher - Your Chief of Staff for information to help you stay focused
by•
Most feeds keep you scrolling — filled with algorithmic junk, drug-like short videos, and endless echo chambers. Ancher, instead, keeps you growing.
It helps you anchor what matters — learning your intent, filtering the noise, and delivering insights that help you think and act.
In Do Mode, explore both sides of a story, see how people react, turn articles into your own post, or let Ancher watch it for you — alerting you when a real breakthrough lands.

The "living anchor" concept makes sense. Does it actually get better at filtering or does it just accumulate more stuff over time like every other feed?
Ancher
@berghoffer That’s a really great way to put it — and I’d say the truth lies somewhere in between, yet not fully on either side.
On one hand, we believe there’s a natural limit to how much meaningful content a person can truly absorb, reflect on, and connect with in a day. So we don’t want to endlessly pile on or fight for more of your time — that’s exactly what most feeds do, and it leads to fatigue, not growth.
But on the other hand, we’re not building an echo chamber either. The goal isn’t to keep you inside a narrow bubble of what you already know or agree with. Behind the scenes, there’s a science — an algorithmic logic that uses each Anchor as a center of gravity. From that center, it intelligently expands your horizon — bringing in adjacent perspectives, related developments, and diverse voices that enrich your understanding, without overwhelming you.
So, it’s not about more content or less content — it’s about the right expansion, at the right time, around what truly matters to you.
Thank you for your support, Connor!
@vincentwu800 Yeah makes sense, keep it up keen to follow your journey! :)
Congrats on the launch!
Love the product. `Watch it for me` is my favourite feature of the bunch.
Quick bug report: Clicking on the Ancher logo on the top left of the landing page shows 404. Should be a simple fix :p

The summaries are shockingly human-like, they even preserve and change tone, not just facts, this is really cool.
Ancher
@cheng_ju1 That’s such an awesome thing to hear — thank you!
We’ve put a lot of work into making the summaries feel human, not robotic — capturing tone, intent, and nuance, not just spitting out bullet points. Really glad that came through. More of that coming soon!

Ancher
@vik_sh Thank you so much — that really means a lot 🙏
That’s exactly what we’re trying to do: move beyond just showing more information, and instead help people make sense of it. There’s already too much noise out there — our goal is to make information useful again, something that actually fuels understanding and action.
Really appreciate the kind words and encouragement!
Ancher
@vik_sh Thanks, Viktor. Ancher.ai is a next-gen AI-powered news assistant. It helps you save time, stay sharp, and turn scattered content into clarity, memory and action. Just try it out.
I often need multi-faceted information when researching complex topics but don’t want to be distracted by algorithm-recommended junk content. If Ancher can truly filter out the noise and provide valuable insights, it would save me a lot of time in sifting through information.
Ancher
@jet_chen1 Thank you for trying it out! You can follow our YouTube channel to discover and experience more features. Our ambition is to create an information assistant that understands you - saving your time and empowering your ambitions.
Ancher
@jet_chen1 Jet, this is exactly one of our goals - to filter out the noise (traditional algorithms will inevitably do that, don't blame them!) and provide you with the straightforward information you need.
Try Ancher and let us know. I'm pretty sure we're not 100% there yet. Maybe only 30%. But your input will guide us to get there.
Cheers!
@vincentwu800 Besides the 50% discount, is there a free trial available?
Ancher
@vincentwu800 @alan_1999 Hi, Lan. We’re launching a “Free for One Year” plan on Product Hunt — you can find the code on our launch page. Hope you can explore more and share the feedback.
Ancher
Hey everyone👋,
I'm thrilled to launch Ancher.ai - a next-gen AI-powered news assistant that redefines how people interact with information. I’m also a news enthusiast — I’ve installed quite a few news apps myself. The problem is that there wasn’t too little information - it was too much. Too noisy. Too fragmented. Too easy to forget.
Ancher is our answer. Not just another feed - but a smarter system that:
Learns what matters to you through conversation
Surfaces signal from global media, research, and niche sources
Remembers key insights with Anchor Vault
Lets you act on content instantly with Do Mode
It’s built for professionals, founders, and lifelong learners who want to stay sharp without the overwhelm.
🎁 We're offering PH users “Free For One Year" (code on our launch page). Try Ancher and we’d love your feedback.
- William
@william_ancher great! I will try it out!
where you got the source? from media sites? or social media? or others...
if you just turn the exising media source to me, what's the diffferent i read from the origin?
Ancher
@zeming_zhao Zeming, this is a great question — and you’re absolutely right to ask it.
First, the problem today isn’t that there aren’t enough sources — it’s that there are too many. We’re drowning in content, and the real challenge is knowing what’s actually worth your attention.
Yes, we aggregate from a wide range of places — trusted media outlets, expert commentary, and even social signals. And we never “invent” information ourselves — we take accuracy very seriously (hallucinated news is the last thing anyone needs).
But that’s only part of Ancher’s value. What truly matters is how we connect the dots — finding the relationships, the patterns, and the underlying meaning across those pieces of information. Our goal is to help you see not just what happened, but why it matters to you: given your identity, goals, and interests, what’s worth reading, how to grasp the full picture fast, and where to go deeper when something truly deserves your focus.
Nice job! but I thought that "Add Topic" would fetch information related to the relevant topic for me, but it turns out to be a direct response from the llm.
Ancher
@anoxia_liu Anoxia, that’s a great catch — and thank you for pointing it out!
You’re right: right now, “Add Topic” behaves more like a direct LLM response than a live content fetch. The idea in this early version was to help users quickly generate or define new anchors before the system starts curating around them.
But you’re spot on about what it should evolve into — a true topic-level feed that automatically gathers, filters, and updates information related to what you’ve just added. That’s exactly where we’re heading: making every topic you create feel alive — continuously learning, curating, and connecting new insights for you over time.
Thanks again for noticing and sharing that — super helpful feedback as we move toward the next iteration
