I really like the concept, but the very first web app I tried to 'wrap' in Web2Desk returned a "Your Browser is Out of Date" message. Are there any work-arounds for web apps that require minimum versions of web browsers? Here's the app I tried. I use this every day for time tracking (https://tracker.toptal.com). I'll try again on another web app now...
@miamiwebpros We're using chrome 61. May be tracker does't support older version of chrome.

@saleeh Perhaps you are correct. I'm successfully running the web-app on Chrome Version 67.0. I asked their support what is the minimum Chrome version that they require. I'll let you know if I learn anything useful. Do you have any plans to support newer versions of Chrome?
@miamiwebpros I got it, As you know we're using a Electron [https://electronjs.org/]. In stable version they only support Chrome 61. But they have support for Chrome 66 in beta, I would love to talk you on the use case. saleeh@appmaker.xyz

@appmaker@saleeh The Time Tracker developer replied back "We are supporting last two versions of the main browsers, in the case of Google Chrome, the current version is '67. By this rule, we recommend using at least version '65."
So, if electronjs.org is close to supporting Chrome 66, that should do it! I'll reach out via your email to explain my use case. Thanks!

I really see no reason this should have 1,200 votes.. let's just be clear about what this is.
It's a webpage wrapper so instead of typing "nativefier product hunt.com" you type the URL into the website instead. And honestly... almost all the apps listed as sample apps have NATIVE APPS ALREADY!
Come on, please don't use a DIY app over a company's own supported app unless you have a good reason to. This seems like just a marketing plan to get traffic to the makers' other Appmaker.xyz project.

Works much better than the same app created with Fluid.
Access denied. You should have not chosen a .xyz domain

It never actually creates the webapp. It has said "ETA 2 Min" for over 10 minutes now. I'm going to just assume it isn't going to work. Shame.
UPDATE: 23 hours and 30 minutes later, the email arrived in my inbox. I downloaded and ran the app, and only a white screen showed up - no website. So, my conclusion remains the same - it doesn't work.
Guys I loved to use the product and I'm using for two weeks, but the app I make a desktop version I can upload images and in the version generated through the make2app it's not working.
@javitoluz Its working perfectly. Can you try again? TIA

Great Tool, very easy to use. One issue, I have a webservice which creates pdfs which i then would like to print from the pdf viewer but the print icon is not showing and Ctrl-p doenst work either! Any ideas?
For example: I created an app from a Thesaurus site and now I have a "Thesaurus.exe" background service hogging 500MB of memory. That service does not end when you quit the active app. WTF?!
Also - injecting Google Tag manager code into (everything?) you are browsing, sending data back to Web2Desk. This is typical for SaaS apps, but in this case, they are potentially collecting data not just on their app, but on your usage of 3rd party apps/sites.
None of this stuff is addressed in their FAQ/support. Would like to see much more clarity on these issues.
Pros:
It does what it says.
Cons:
For each app you build using this, it creates a background service that stays running even after you terminate the app, hogging memory.
