👋 Hey Product Hunt — Faiz ul Qadir here, one of the makers (and hunter) of Aseel. We started Aseel in 2019 to solve a simple problem: Afghan artisans had amazing skills but almost no way to sell their products internationally. We wanted to connect them to buyers around the world — and make it fair, transparent, and sustainable. Then in 2021, during the crisis in Afghanistan, we realized people also wanted to give directly to those in need. That’s when Aseel expanded into humanitarian aid, distributing thousands of emergency packs to families and artisans in need. That experience taught us that digital giving doesn’t have to feel distant or transactional — it can feel human, personal, and connected. Fast forward to today: we’re launching Aseel v2.5, our biggest update yet.
