Asteroid is one of those rare platforms where the quality of the product is matched by the strength of the team behind it. From day one, it’s been clear they move fast, listen closely, and execute with precision. The product has evolved rapidly—new features, improved stability, and thoughtful APIs—all shipping at an impressive pace. It’s been great partnering with a team that’s not only technically sharp but genuinely collaborative.
Can I use this to provide an API for web applications which don't have one? E.g. setup some functional automation to retrieve the information I want from a site programmatically?
@joe_griffith1 Hi Joe! That's exactly what we're best at. Most of our customers use us because they can't get the functionality they need from websites they depend on in a programmatic manner.
Congrats David & Joe on the launch! Asteroid looks amazing - love the focus on specialised, reliable agents instead of trying to be a one-size-fits-all solution. Super curious, what’s been the most unexpected use case someone built with Asteroid so far?

Why are you making me sign up right away when I click on your website link?
It's prompting me to login as soon as I go to your website?
