Backendless is an intelligently designed low-code platform for any web application that requires a strong database back-end, versatile implementation of business rules, and a pleasant, responsive UI. I have tried other platforms (e.g., Bubble and AirTable) and have found no other low-code tool that delivers the power and flexibility of Backendless. The power of the technology is made so much better by the amazing support provided directly by Backendless engineers and even it founder. Getting started with Backendless also is quite easy. The founder has recorded excellent tutorials on all the basics and several advanced features.

I'm a big fan of the Backendless platform. It's allowed me to quickly develop, test and learn and is by far the most robust platform I've used in the LowCode space. Looking forward to checking out the latest features.

My honest and short review: When it comes to scalability and customization of your app, Backendless really stands out. Not only was I able to create an app that is nearly at the native level, but the process was also surprisingly quick. I spent a few days learning their educational materials, and it was enough for me to start. By the way, I built my app in a week.

The integration of OpenAI within the component was truly transformative. The sheer versatility it offers, enabling a myriad of unique integrations, not only broadens the horizon of possibilities but also fuels our creative fires. With such an extensive array of modular components at our fingertips, the development process becomes seamless and intuitive. It feels as if the moment an idea sparks, the integration is already there, ready to come to life. The vast range of integrations with diverse platforms unveils an exhilarating universe of Backendless possibilities.

I have been trying out lowcode/nocode solutions for quite some time now, and being based in Europe, Backendless stood out for their support for GDPR legislation, but also their outstanding support community and direct involvement in communicating with that community. While there are other alternatives that are more front-end heavy, the solid and thought-through scaleability and robustness of the backend should make this a choice for many a developer who don’t want or need to maintain their own backend. Plus - the nearness to the metal makes this almost unbeatable when it comes to customization! After doing trials, we are now on the cusp of releasing our first app using the platform, and will heartily recommend it to others as well! :)
