Barrier - Stop doomscrolling by blocking your addictive apps!

by
Tired of doomscrolling? Barrier limits screen time to 10-minute sessions, then locks distracting apps. To unlock, you wait 30 seconds... just enough time to reconsider. It’s free, simple, and users report 70% less screen time. Stop scrolling. Start living.

I love the how the 30-second pause breaks that doomscroll reflex. This is so needed. Great Job!

A nice alternative to the dumb phone solution.

This sounds significantly better than Android's general time limit per day. Really hits the use case of "I answered a message in insta and then got stuck on the feed". Didn't see a version in the Android play store. Is there one forthcoming for Android users? Great concept!

After spending DAYS trying to come up with my own workarounds to block social media apps and sites on my iPhone, I think I’ll stick with this instead 😂 well done JC! Keen to see where your roadmap takes you.

Great execution. Any plans to remove ads? I’d pay for this right now 😀

Really interesting idea with Barrier, love the social lock concept.

Would be great to connect. I work with early-stage products to help them build clean, clear landing pages that explain and convert. Let me know if you're working on one, happy to chat.

I love the idea, 10 minute scrolling makes sense. Never again doom scrolling. Let's get this in the hands of the masses. The product my team & I are building is focused on doing just that. And since we are just getting started, we have a brand to build with successes. Let's connect JC!
