The concept is great! The Android app.. nah I love how @caseyNeistat steps in during the onboarding procedure, however I have found these steps annoying especially as the app does not work as it should. Simple is better, but the general UI lacks of balance and the contrast between all the colours is something they need to fix. I have to say I am quite disappointed that Beme is not ready yet: as someone already said they are well founded, their team has got great skills but it's very very tough to get back using the app after the first uncomfortable experience.

It would be interesting to hear the story of the relaunch from the Beme Team, what they learned from the first launch on ProductHunt and in general,...

Loving the new design + it's now on Android! Mighty fine job, if you ask me! :))

I struggle with this, but I'm excited to see if this version is SIGNIFICANTLY better. *crosses fingers* But we will see...

Wow, what a superb idea and app so far! I couldn't have asked for anyone better than Casey to lead this project! Keep it up, looking good so far. I personally will be Bemeing my entrepreneur/startup life on how I manage my project :p , follow me: Dilyar :)

Seems like a Go Pro for your smartphone?

As an early beme guy 1.0 is a lot better, the UI is much cleaner, and the way you look at brakes is much nicer. Looking forward to see where this goes

As an Android user, while I agree that discoverability needs to be be better, the idea of this raw app is genius. I am one who, even though I work in tech everyday, is sickened by the fact that when I go to a concert, it's phones everywhere. I used to be the person who always recorded concerts, only to discover I didn't even remember the joy of the concert afterwards, since all I was really doing was reaping the sweet friend Karma. With this, hopefully we can get the best of both worlds.

@linkchef So instead of seeing and recording, BEME users are going to be pressing the phone to their chest and publishing? Is that the difference? I don't think it's going to stop people from sharing and NOT living in the moment. Would love to hear your thoughts.

@tacack That could definitely be the case. I do know that the screen can be a distracting experience. Trying to make sure that your picture looks good takes away mental power to actually experience, and share with the people sitting around you, from what I've seen, and heard from others. It will be interesting to see how this works in the future, to see if it actually does take you out of the experience like every other social media/recording, or does change something.

The concept is great...but feels like the execution isn't there yet. Every social app that wanna change our use of other every-day used apps in this field needs to deal with the major pain of transition. Beme still doesn't do it on the sharp side out there. Nevertheless --- KEEP IT UP!

I wonder if this is the next snapchat...or the next peach.
