@mbalex99 I am not an expert on Electron, but just using a plain WKWebView worked fine for us. What would have been the advantage of using Electron for a native Mac App?

Only problem is I didn't had any experience with Electron, so that would have probably delayed our release. Also, not very interested in developing for Windows and Linux having no experience and real machines to test on.

Looks great. Couple of notes: When using j and k to navigate I'm hearing a bell noise each time, is that intentional? Also, are you guys focusing on performance? I know inbox was built with 60fps in mind, and first glance the native app seems to be slower than the web version. Would also be interested in hearing about plans for fine-tuned notification control. Still really excited to see this grow!

@pfista Hi Michael, we have a great roadmap and you won't be disappointed. We're fixing that bell noise bug, and also doing our best improve performance!

Inbox is a blessing and a curse at times. Gmail is definitely a concurrent product. But finally I'll be able to ditch chrome browser for handling inbox :)

Congrats on the launch, I love this! :) Didn't even hesitate, just bought it. Only complaint is the lack of full screen support. I know this will come. Best of luck!

Noticing a slight bit of typing lag when typing really fast. Can that be fixed?

@linuz90 I think "current active item" need more emphasis over just tiny gray vertical bar. Took me a while to understand that pressing -> on my keyboard actually works.

@linuz90 cool, thanks. I also keep pressing "up and down" instead of "right and left" I think it's since navigation is actually "up and down" in a list.
