Gorgeous Mac client for Twitter, based on the mobile Twitter website. It has a beautiful and minimal interface, a convenient standalone Tweet composer, and it supports common macOS shortcuts. It also has a status bar icon for quick access.
@steve1215 love how that sounds! But Boxy is kinda becoming its own brand so we don't want to ditch it :)

@frankdilo what wrapper did you use? Electron? Something of your own? Does the core of this use Chrome V8? or Webkit?
Update: Reread my post and I come across pretty demanding. Sorry.
I love this type of tech and do a lot of work in Electron and other wrapper systems too. Whatever you’re using it looks great. If you don’t want to say it it’s proprietary I completely understand.
But if you do want a chance to say how awesome your tech stack is then I’m here for that!!! I’m the nerd that will listen. 😋
@isaiah It's our own tech stack based on WKWebView. We have developed it for the original Boxy (Inbox client) and refined it for boxysuite.com. Now it's quite a joy to use 👌

@frankdilo it's really great. works really well -- makes it feel very native, which is great.
it would probably be pretty easy to translate that to an Electron app too, if you'd like to hit the Windows market.

Exactly what I've been looking for since they decided to discontinue the mac app. Simple and nothing fussy. Some small things: The white "X" close icon disappears if you are watching a video since the background is white too. I think pressing esc to exit a tweet you clicked into would be nice.
@frankdilo just downloaded from the website but the only thing it shows is a request for license… which I don't have and the website doesn't mention at all?

Feels like the development has been abandoned, no responses to emails about bugs, the interface is glitching, switching between accounts is unreliable.
