Break Buddy reminds you to drink water, move, and rest your eyes during the workday — solo, or with your team. Since our first launch here, we rebuilt a big part of the product based on what the community told us: proper account recovery, international payments (not just LatAm), a real security pass, and a much smoother onboarding. Still built by one non-developer, one AI-assisted commit at a time.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 A while back I launched Break Buddy here — a simple hydration and break-reminder app I built without being a developer myself, just me and an AI coding assistant, one step at a time. The feedback from this community was honestly the best part. People pointed out real gaps: account recovery was missing, payments only worked for Latin America, and there were rough edges in onboarding I hadn't even noticed. So instead of moving on to something else, I spent the following weeks going back through all of it — properly, one piece at a time, testing everything before shipping it. What's new since the first launch: ● Account recovery — lose your session, get back in with a magic link, no password to remember ● International payments — you can now subscribe from outside Latin America, not just via Mercado Pago ● A real security pass on invite codes, sessions, and team data ● A Help Center with FAQs, right inside the app ● Smoother onboarding and a timer screen that actually fits your screen without zooming out I'm not a developer by trade — I'm learning this in public, mistake by mistake, and this community's feedback is a big part of why the app is more solid today.
