Hey @__tosh, thx for hunting us. Hi Hunters, we are pleased to present you myAlfred today.
myAlfred is an AI powered butler that fits right in your pocket and brings your life into balance again. Whether you want to have a drink with your friends, a dinner with your family or go for a quick run twice a week - myAlfred finds time for the people and things you love. If you want to plan an activity for this month, you don't have to scan your calendar for the perfect date. You can simply select a vague time span without thinking about an exact date. Just like “this month sometimes in the evening”. myAlfred takes everyone’s schedule into account as well as other factors such as location of the user and finds the perfect date for everyone.
If you have any questions related to our product, please don’t hesitate to ask.
If you want to know more about myAlfred, please visit www.myalfred.io or contact us via email, Twitter or Facebook. We are also looking forward to your opinions and feature requests.
Cheers,

I’m a little bit concerned about my privacy, if I’m going to invite other people. Do they see my calendar or any of my appointments?
Hi @johnny_leo, this is a great question, however there is no need to worry. The privacy of our users is very important to us and therefore no other person will ever see your personal calendar or any of your appointments. We also don’t store any of your calendar data on our servers. We just analyze your schedule locally on your device, find the time when you are available and look for the best time slot for all of the attendees.
@ipgregor@johnny_leo Another thing to add is that we don't share any e-mail addresses with other attendees of your appointments not already known to them.
@__tosh myAlfred analyzes the calendar of every attendee and finds possible timeframes when everybody is available. As a next step, our artificial intelligence uses a set of rules to decide which timeframe is the perfect one for scheduling the event. The rule set (amongst others) considers factors such as event location, travel distance or remaining free time on a specific day.
Using a rule based approach makes it easy for us to improve our AI in the future. As an example, we are planning to include factors such as weather reports or personal preferences.
Hello @etticat. Yes, we are alreading working on an Android app that will be released later this year. In the meantime people with Android, Windows Phone or Blackberry can use our chat bot for the messenger app Telegram. With this bot it is very easily possible to find the perfect time for an event with multiple people within a group chat.
Hello @wolfgang_damm. You can continue using your current calendar, in fact, you should do so. The reason being, that myAlfred is not a calendar application. It’s more like a personal assistant or butler app which manages your calendar. myAlfred works with your existing calendar, analyzes it, finds the perfect time for your events or appointments and adds them to your (existing) calendar.

Very promising! They need more users to grow!!!! I was a beta-tester for @myAlfred and I must say that the "Makers" are really doing their best to deliver a solid product. Give it a try!
Hey @mamk, thank you for your kind words. Since the beta we have come a long way and we are excited that we finally released myAlfred on the AppStore today.
Hello @valscholz. X.ai and Meekan are focussing solely on business meetings. This is also possible with myAlfred, however we are more focussing on leisure appointments.
Google Goals offers a solution towards repeating appointments. However it's only possible to create "Goals" just for your own and not with other people involved. myAlfred allows you to add multiple people to an appointment, right out of contact book on your phone. They don't even have to have the app installed to invite them.
Another great advantage of myAlfred is, that our product can be used in various different fields. If some of our main competitor would implement the same functionality, we could focus on several other scheduling problems. It doesn't matter for myAlfred's AI, whether it has to be an appointment between people or objects. A concrete example would be sharing a car, where myAlfred knows the schedule of everyone who is using the car. So the app can coordinate the occupancy of the car and who is using it at a specific time.

This is very neat idea. I would appreciate the explanatory video with current features and how they can be used.
@ipgregor I saw this. It do explain things on conceptual level. I've tried the telegram bot, but it's unclear what exact features it has. Cuz now it looks more like bot for meetings which manage to find free time for all parties. Google calendar can do it in few clicks
@ramovsky myAlfred allows you to schedule events in a vague way, meaning that you never have to set an exact time. So you could for example specify that you want to go for a run three times a week in the morning or evening, or you would like to have dinner with your friends next week. Afterwards myAlfred will analyze everybody's schedule and find the perfect time for all attendees. Furthermore, the app suggests places and restaurants with the help of services like Foursquare and Google Places and you can order an Uber directly to the address of the event. Yet, myAlfred also allows more complex scheduling scenarios, like an appointment three times every two weeks, but not on a Sunday and not on the 10th of a month.
Have you seen any resistance from beta user invitees to download, and as a result, not have activities scheduled?
Instead of directing people who you invite to events straight to downloading myAlfred, it might be a lower barrier for them to chat with one of the bots you're building. If they are pleased with that first experience, you can direct them to download the app for an even better experience.
Hello @kunalslab. We haven't really seen much resistance in the beta test phase, because people who want to have all the benefits of myAlfred often urge their friends to download the app as well.
But thank you a lot for your input. We'll definitly think about the chatbot approach.
