Cal.ai Email Assistant - World's first open source AI scheduling assistant

I love not thinking about scheduling anymore. I got a DM from someone on twitter who wanted to book a user interview -> From my phone, I just emailed dexter@cal.ai: "Find a time to meet with [their email address]" and closed the mail app. I didn't have to think about it at all -> The AI got in touch with the person I wanted to meet, found a good time and put it on my calendar. I got a notification with a video link some time the next day -> clicked it and was chatting with my new friend in a different timezone halfway around the world. Literally 10 seconds of logistics all included. It's not perfect yet - lot's to polish and tons of exciting ideas coming in to explore - but I think with this tech - we can see a path to ending Calendar BS and giving everyone a personal assistant in their pocket. PLUS IT'S FREAKING OS so you can stand it up locally or use it as a framework for building your own AI assistants! BTW, if you ever have questions about the tech or want to chat about AI -> You can now literally just email hi@cal.ai "Book time with @dexter to talk about AI" 🚀✌️

Just gave it a go and it's definitely the easiest meeting I've ever scheduled! No context switching, no distractions, and works even better on mobile too.

Great idea to make ai do another, otherwise manual task of adding / scheduling events! Can be a significant helper for someone having and managing a lot of cal events. The landing page could be a bit more clear. You also got a text there saying "One on on with Sally" on one of the images.

Cal was already saving me hours a week of wasted time to schedule meetings with people … now Cal AI is taking it all to an entirely new level. Amazing. ❤️‍🔥🚀
