@erenbali Don't you think the EMR market is quite saturated?! and it's a lot of sweat to dislodge existing platforms used by providers. How are you planning to go about that?
@vidit@erenbali While there are a lot of EMRs out there, we are taking a very different approach and the providers we've talked to are eager to switch. Right now providers live in many different systems – one for records, one for scheduling, one for messaging (or just email, which is insecure), one for video calls, one for billing, one for patient intake. These systems are clunky, require copy-pasting between them, and sometimes there's no tech at all – just manual data entry. Also, providers have to spend precious time doing many tasks that would be easier for the patient to do, like selecting a pharmacy or choosing between qualified specialists. By re-architecting the way medical data is organized, we can streamline the whole treatment cycle.
I like the idea of having your health ID on the app. It's surprising though practices will sometimes still only take a hard copy.
I have a tangential question. How do you get that text me the app widget on your website?
@datarade You can schedule appointments on Carbon like you do on ZocDoc, but then continue to use it throughout your care – to message or videochat with your doctor, see your records, order prescriptions, etc.

I recently had to find a doctor and couldn't set an appointment online the same day. I heard about carbon and ended up trying it out. They were great and so friendly. Plus I love the UX of the app.

Thanks for this, @Pablo and Carbon team! I just installed the Android app and am already a fan of Carbon Bot! :-) Unfortunately, Carbon doesn't work with my current insurance provider yet. I wish they'd let me enter my provider info so they can let me know if the service does become available with my own doctor.
