Cent - A network for universal creative income

Cent is where Creators + fans earn income together. There are 2 'mechanisms':
1) 'Seed a Creator' and get rewarded.
2) 'Spot' a post, and show you like it.
Both put your money where your mouth is.
Try it out. There are a lot of amazing artists to support.

Really like the idea. Have some doubts about the monetization plan tho. 1) As more and more people seed an artist, and given that every previous seeder will get a cut of *all* the next seeders... how does that scale? Practical example: An artist has 100 seeders, the 101st person seeds 1$ - how much of that dollar reaches the artist? #PonziScheme? 2) Also, how much of each spot reaches the artist? Your site/FAQ never explains how the platform makes money. You need to keep the lights on and process also those payment transactions. Do artists pay you a monthly fee? Do you get a cut of all spots/seeds, like Patreon? Can you clarify these doubts? Thanks :)

I like the concept and layout but there are 2 key improvements needed so that Cent can thrive and i start posting again: - stop restricting users from posting more than once per hour (https://beta.cent.co/+epeguz - might wanna check my arguments in replies to comments) - allow users to upload / embed videos without having to store them first in big tech platforms (https://beta.cent.co/+j57yzf) Hope to return soon ;)

Well, at first I had my doubts as too many apps promising the same results have popped up lately. For sure this looks amazing for people who look into expanding their content creation to monetization! I have been lucky enough to start y own side hustle https://yourmoneygeek.com/best-s... by drawing contemporary sketches of political figures and together with this it seems my workload will be getting higher and higher on a daily basis! Again thanks for sharing and let's get our passion for economic independence to another level by supporting the ones that dare to start their own gig.
