@victoria_wu Thanks for the kind words! Really means a lot to hear you find it fun - that's exactly what we were hoping for. We built Chance AI because, honestly, I kept finding myself taking photos of random things and going down Wikipedia rabbit holes trying to learn more about them.

While we're still working on improving our recognition accuracy (especially for more obscure objects and art pieces), it's encouraging to see others who share that same curiosity for discovering the stories behind everyday things. If you come across any interesting discoveries while using the app, I'd love to hear about them. User stories help us understand what kinds of recognition patterns we should prioritize next.

@dineshan_sithamparanathan Thank you - really appreciate the specific callout on the design. We actually went through about 8 different iterations of the UI before landing on this one. Our early versions were much more cluttered, trying to show too much information at once.

Would love to hear which design elements you find most effective. We're currently working on improving the results layout to better organize different types of information (historical context vs technical details vs related items). It's a tricky balance between keeping it clean while still surfacing all the interesting connections we find.

@zhiqi_shi That's an okay way to think about it, but I'd say that the results Chance AI provides are more focused. We really worked on the visual training that allows Chance to "understand" the images and give relevant results. For example, if you take a picture of a building, you'll probably get history and information about the architect, as well as design cues and inspirations. If you take a picture of a houseplant, you'll instead get regional information and care tips. Chance also uses live data and can provide information on breaking news.

So, chance doesn't just pump out generic information pages, it really is quite focused and clever. Give it a shot!

@bradon_h Got it. Maybe you could also try integration something like DeepSeek or other models to see what happens.

@zhiqi_shi Pretty much! Think of it like Wikipedia with a camera - except we try to focus on just the interesting bits about what you're actually looking at, rather than dumping a whole encyclopedia on you. Still working on getting better at guessing which parts of the photo you're most curious about, but that's the idea.
