I have been a user of Clay since the early days, and I must say I love the product. It's in my bundle of modern tools to keep me on top of my personal work life. Also, the team behind have been super responsive and dared to make bold decisions when iterating on the product. Clay is one of the tools I love using in my everyday life, together with tools such as Arc, Superhuman, Texts, and Cron. They all keep me fast, responsive, and up-to-date. I've been using Clay for a few weeks now—it's something I didn't really know I needed until I wanted to be more intentional with personal relationships, and following a recommendation to try Clay. I love it! A request for future development: • Birthdays - I'd like to set reminders for groups of people and on a per-person basis. I'd also like custom reminders in advance (so there's time to send a card, gift etc.), e.g 12 or 14 days.

This looks like a really cool concept and I like the idea of organizing information about people i know because im terrible at remembering who did what. I'll remember - i talked to somebody recently who just got a new job at Microsoft, and then im like wait who was that. Or so and so told me about a podcast, but i don't remember who it was! Would Clay help keep track of things like that? Planning to try it out!

That's exactly the inspiration — it's amazing how often we think about people by where we met, how we were introduced, things we talked about, or things we have in common. We built Clay's search specifically to make searches like that possible: "friend I met last year in politics", "twitter followers who mentioned 99% invisible podcast", etc. Would love to hear what you think as you dive in!

Looks interesting! Are LinkedIn messages ported over to Clay? Can I do my messaging within Clay while the recipient is on some other platform like LinkedIn or Twitter? Cheers

@guytaylor88 Thank you for the message and the support! We don't (yet!) import LinkedIn messages, but we are certainly investigating that integration. There is not a way to message directly in Clay, but we allow you to easily move to the messaging platform of your choice with one click!

This looks really amazing! Always wanted a super simple CRM/rolodex to strengthen my personal-based relationships and haven't found one that works yet - might give Clay a try here! What sort of privacy measures are in place to ensure my data is safe / won't be sold off / tracked / viewed by Clay employees / etc.?

We focused on privacy from day one, so we wrote a human-readable privacy and security policy that goes into detail about each integration and how data is used, which you can read at https://clay.earth/security-and-.... Our goal is to eventually move data storage fully locally — happy to dive in more over email as well!
