Can I use this tool to replace Jumpshare? Thank you :)

If you could record your camera and mic while recording your screen (similar to Loom) this would be game over

?makers I'd like to save a screenshot to your cloud and preserve the same link URL even when I edit the screenshot, is that possible? Is it even possible to update screenshots after they've been saved to the cloud, similar to Skitch?
Luke Oslizlo
@iannikov yes, it is! After adding annotations to an already uploaded screenshots, you will be asked if you want to replace your screenshot in Cloud with the new version.

@lukaszmtw It's not working for me...

You just murdered CloudApp right off my computer. Superb. The scrolling screenshot, the superfast cloud, the window capture for video, on and on. Will Setapp include the pro cloud membership when you have that ready? What will that include? I'm assuming longer retention for screenshots as a start?

I posted this in a mac group I run, and got a bunch of feedback like: Native can do 90% of this This is like skitch? pass. So I wrote a quick breakdown of why this is (to me) better than the native flow, which I love, and use every day: 1) I use the cmd+shift 4 flow every day, then I hold control to get it into the clipboard I can't edit the snapshots quickly like that. If I don't hold control, I can edit the screenshot, but then I can't put it back into clipboard, nor can I drag it out, so have to save. This is context switching, and is bad. 2) Editing on native is super limited and annoying. There's no easy arrowing, no numbering, and most importantly, no blurring / pixelating of sensitive info. You can only use like rectangles and stuff, and they are by default just black. You color choice isn't saved between sessions. 3) Sharing is horrible, like what is this? Why can't I share to slack? We're in 2020, this is stupid. I can on ios, but can't here? 4) No gifs. Gifs are essential, and there's no gifs. I use Gifox, and other tools, and they all have their issues as well. 5) Being able to drag the actual screenshot is super useful, not all places can get a paste from clipboard, and more places accept a draggable asset. 6) Cloud built in? I use dropbox and it has a feature wherein you can save screenshots to there, and you get the link immediately. But this has the same for gifs, images and videos? (I think, haven't checked) And did I mention the pixelation? I really really need pixelation.

I just bought this based on all the recommendations here. So far so good, but I found one thing disappointing: turns out the cloud service only saves your screenshots for 30 days. Would have been nice to know before purchasing.

This is awesome! I have two questions. 1. Are there text options when annotating (font size, color etc)? 2. If we get/pay for the cloud do we have the option to embed screen capture videos onto our site for example?
Sarah Cohen
When you say add a border to screen shots, what does that mean? :D

The best screenshot/ annotating app that exists!
