It's growing for every week. It's going to be interesting seeing how large the academy gets in a couple of months.

Pros:

Great for learning up-to-date SEO for both beginners and advanced users

Cons:

Needs more material

Steven van Vessum
Thanks Axel! You're definitely right, there's so much more topics we'd like to cover in the Academy section. We started with the fundamentals, and are working hard to extend the it. If you have any requests for article topics, do let me know - in the end the only thing that matters is that we're creating content that people are interesting it, content that's useful for them.

@stevenvvessum Loving it! Congrats! Totally unrelated: How do you guys deal with the currency on the website? I'm trying to figure it out for us @ https://deerdesigner.com but couldn't think of the best way, choosing which currency will be the fixed one, etc. Are you using a plugin, jquery, what? Thanks so much!
Steven van Vessum
@thiagoafram Thanks Thiago, much appreciated! As for your other question: please email me at steven@contentkingapp.com :)

A really great set of articles covering all the SEO topics needed, from SEO basics through to in depth guides.

The first set of articles is SEO Fundamentals, then Mobile SEO, eCommerce SEO, International SEO, then a number of comprehensive SEO guides.

A great set of resources for beginners and experienced to use as a reference.

Pros:

Very comprehensive and well written, with expert contributions

Cons:

Not available in video format, that I could see

Steven van Vessum
Thank you Peter for your review - glad you like the Academy! Video is indeed something we haven't really explorer yet, interesting to hear that's a format you'd like :) Thanks!

Cons:

None

Steven van Vessum

Bookmark worthy content; it's great to have an authoritative source for (technical) SEO items. Hopefully it will keep improving and growing!

Pros:

Well written, concise yet thorough explanations of SEO fundamentals.

Cons:

There's no way to see if information is up to date, some kind of "last modified" or "last verified" timestamp would be a nice addition.

Steven van Vessum
Thank you for your kind words, and feedback - you have a point with the last updated timestamp. I'll discuss that internally! And we will continue to improve, update and grow the Academy section for sure :)

Looks promising. Will give it a try. Have few thoughts around its B2B marketing if you guys do it often:- - Track companies who are actively hiring for roles like "content writers" or "digital marketing" or "SEO" as they are the ones who are investing in this function and more likely to try out your product. You could couple this with other qualification factors like their industry, no of employees, SAAS or not, ecommerce or not. - You could potentially reach out to companies who have recently launched their apps, websites, online store as they will be more likely to grow it via content. Have few more thoughts around it but this is something on top of my mind. Happy to have a chat if you want to go deep dive further on this.
