I've tried many of these products before, each of them offering a utopian solution of managing a diverse portfolio of contacts and industries. Covve is, by far, the first one to deliver on that promise - it's UI is very intuitive and slick - my son actually played around with it and could grasp what each button/feature did. It's pretty fast and helps me every day organize and reach out to people. I've also upgraded phones twice since i first used it and there were no problems whatsoever.

Pros:

clean, shiny UI - fast - and secure

Cons:

it wasn't invented 10 years ago :)

I really don't get the point of this app. I was excited about it but none of the features are useful because any data it adds is not synced back to any address book or CRM.

Pros:

nothing because all the data is useless unless looking at maps in the app. but i dont need a map for contacts.

Cons:

doesnt play well w others (no integrations); exporting is a paid feature and only possible in segments, data doesnt sync back to phone

Hi Kate. From your review (and discussion with support off product hunt) sounds like you're after a tool that will simply add data to your address book. That's not Covve... Covve is a tool for helping people make the most of their contacts and relationships. From scouring the world's news for just in time news affecting your contacts to helping you keep track of your conversations and reminding you to stay in touch. From scanning business cards to building your own private network, the list goes on. But lets be clear - Covve absolutely syncs all possible data back to your address book. This includes name, company, job title, notes, phone (and, coming soon, address). The only data that isn't synced back is data that doesn't exist in iOS/Android phone books (for example, Industry) or data for which iOS and/or Android sync isn't, in our opinion, sufficiently reliable (such as social profiles). You do make an interesting point on integrations. Integrating with the likes of Pipedrive, Salesforce and others is absolutely on our roadmap for 2019 😉
