Hey Product Hunt, Ante here! Today we're opening up to your agents. Your agent can now drive, but don't worry, you're still the one in charge of the destination.

Your agent knows your code, your stack and how to write code. What it doesn't know is what happened this week: what millions of developers are reading, upvoting and arguing about on daily.dev, and the comment threads where the real production stories live.

So we gave it a way in. YOUR AGENTS CAN READ NOW!!

Here's what's new

- daily.dev MCP: connect Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client and sign in with your daily.dev account. No token to copy, nothing to install. Your agent can read your feed, search posts, pull the discussions, save bookmarks and tune your feed.

- daily.dev Marketplace: plugins that teach your agent new tricks. Upgrade Scout tells you what breaks before you bump a dependency, Feed Builder sets up a feed from one sentence, Bookmarks to Notes turns your reading list into notes. Built by developers in the community.

- Public API: everything above over plain REST, free for every account (more usage with subscription)

- Sign in with daily.dev: building an app for other developers? Register it as an OAuth app and people sign in with their daily.dev account.

Things I ask my agent(s)

- "What should I read today?"

- "What do developers actually think about Bun in production? Read the comments."

- "I'm bumping Next.js to 16.3. Anything I should know?"

- "Make me a feed for Rust backend and observability. No videos."

How to try it

Add daily.dev to your agent (setup for every client ), sign in with your daily.dev account and you are ready to go! Want more? Open our , and pick from a variety of plugins: skills that teach your agent even more tricks, or apps built on top of daily.dev.

The Marketplace shelves are still fresh, so this is also a chance to be one of the first plugin authors up there. Tell me what you'd have your agent do with daily.dev, and if you build something, share it with us!

I'll be here throughout the day and happy to answer any questions 🍻

Time to super power your agents!

Congrats on the launch! This is really cool. Do you have any AEO metrics on whether agents/LLMs are finding posts in their searches?

Thanks! Yes, we track it. AI crawler and AI search engine traffic to posts roughly tripled over the last month, and agents increasingly pull the markdown version of posts, which we serve specifically for them. Click-throughs from AI assistants to also grew about 60% last quarter, led by Gemini, ChatGPT and Perplexity.

How did you use Cloud Run for this launch?
We use google cloud run products for running our on demand infra and agents in the cloud.

can the agent create it own feed?

yes there are tools to create your own feeds and it can also adjust your existing ones based on your preference or by analyzing your bookmarks for example.

Yayyyyyy! Excited about this launch.

How does this address new techniques that aren't in the LLM's training data?

discussions, inside knowledge and other platform data on provides insights to agent that they for sure not have in their training data and are much harder to get structurally through their classic web search functionality (which keeps them up to date). This is exactly where our MCP and its tools and many plugins come in to enable new tricks for your agent of choice.

awesome product, great community, insane team!!

almost everyone now uses claude or other assistants so this will be very useful. keep shipping.

 thanks, we will!

Congrats guys!

 thanks!

Congrats on the launch! I love the idea of an 'agent-first' news source / feed-reader. Would love to hear more about how you're running agents on Cloud Run!
