Congrats on this Artifacts launch.. it will definitely help in easy visualisation and analysis .. just one question, would it go deeper to identify outliers..
@dhirajwohra Thanks Dhiraj. That part's really down to what you ask Genie for rather than a separate toggle, since Genie is doing the analysis before it builds the artifact. So asking something like "flag any outliers in this month's data" as part of the prompt should get you that layer of analysis baked into the report, not just the raw numbers charted out.
Worth flagging for anyone who tried an earlier version of this: you can now edit text and titles directly inside the artifact panel, no prompt needed for small fixes. And every artifact you make is saved to its own gallery with search and favorites, so finding last month's report doesn't mean digging through chat history anymore.

Don't get me wrong i like the idea, but what's the biggest difference between Databox and Cloude with proper skills?
@kamil_infeld Fair question. With Claude and skills, you're still the one pulling the data together first, exporting from wherever it lives and feeding it in. The core difference here is Genie already has your data connected, 130+ integrations, so there's no export or paste step at all. You ask, and it's already working from your actual numbers.
Being able to ask for the same analysis restyled for a different client's branding without rebuilding it is the part I would use most. Pulling from live data at generation time also avoids the usual stale screenshot problem. When a report goes out as a public link, does it refresh against live data on every view or is it frozen at the moment you generated it?
@adamkamaneh Good question, and the honest answer: it's frozen at the moment you generate it. A public link shows a snapshot, so it won't refresh on its own if someone views it later or the underlying numbers change. If you want fresh numbers, you'd re-trigger the report and share the new link. Live-refreshing links are on our roadmap, just not there yet.
the edit-mode-vs-prompt-mode split is a smart way to avoid the "AI overwrote my wording" problem. question on that: once I've hand-edited a few sections and then ask Genie for a structural change later, is there version history I can roll back to if the new prompt mangles something near my edits, or is the artifact a single mutable document with no undo path back to an earlier state
@galdayan Good question, and I want to answer this carefully since it matters. Genie is made aware of your edits before it makes a structural change, so it builds on your version rather than blindly overwriting it. What I'm not certain about is whether there's a full version history/rollback you can access if something still gets mangled near your edit, versus the artifact being a single mutable document. Don't want to guess on that one, let me confirm and get back to you rather than answer wrong on something this specific.

💎 Pixel perfection
The Databox MCP release fast-forwarded years of experience for the junior folks on the marketing agency teams I work with. Artifacts just took that to the next level.
I sit at the intersection of ops, strategy, delivery, and client services, and month-end analysis has always been the hardest thing to scale. Even once a junior analyst could get a real answer out of the data, someone senior still had to turn it into something you could put in front of a client. That type of redundancy eats away at account margin week after week after week.
This morning I asked Genie to build a marketing report on a client account. Sessions were up 45%, which is the number a junior AM might lead the client call with and stop there. The artifact tied that jump to four pages we shipped during the month, then flagged that search visibility had actually declined over the same window, so the growth was coming from social and direct rather than search. Real traffic, but it doesn't compound the way search does. The first of six recommendations was to get the remaining pages live so it starts to.
That's a senior strategist's output, and anyone on the account team can produce it on their own now.
Really excited to see where this goes with the rest of the roadmap!
@garyjmag This is one of the best examples in the whole thread, thanks for the detail. The sessions-up-45%-but-search-visibility-declining catch is exactly the gap we wanted to close, a junior AM reading the headline number would've walked into that client call with the wrong story. Turning that into "a senior strategist's output anyone on the team can produce" is a better summary of the goal than we've written ourselves. Really appreciate you taking the time to actually test it against a real account instead of just reading the launch copy.

Hey all! Weighing in here. From a technical standpoint, what makes this reliable is where the data comes from. The artifact isn't summarizing a pasted export, it's pulling from your live connected sources across 130+ integrations. That's the difference between a document that reads well and one I can actually stand behind in a meeting 💪🏻
@emil_korpar Nailed the technical distinction here. Summarizing a pasted export is the easy version, standing behind the number when someone asks "where did this come from" in a meeting is the bar we actually held ourselves to. Thanks for breaking that down for the thread.
Congrats on launch #8, Pete and team. The part I like is that it doesn't stop at the chart - it packages the analysis into something you can actually hand to someone. That last mile of turning an answer into a shareable artifact is where most BI tools quietly leave you. Nice work.
@ben_kahan Appreciate that, Ben. That last mile is exactly what we kept pointing at internally, an answer that stays in a dashboard doesn't travel, an artifact does. Thanks for the kind words.
This one clicked for me right away. You tell Genie what you actually did, so the report explains the result instead of just restating it. Dashboards were never the bottleneck. Nice work.
@lucasjpols Thanks Lucas. That's a good way to put it, dashboards were never the bottleneck, getting the "so what" out of them and into someone's hands was. Glad it clicked right away.

@zigapotocnik Make sense, and actually add value

IMO, the most exciting launch recently. 🚀 It’s become the only way I’ve been doing analysis and reporting over the last couple of weeks.
Huge congrats to the team! This is just the beginning… can’t wait to see what’s coming next. 👀
